Halfway through YF, I got a call from Eugene inviting me to his place because he was having a BBQ party. He needed another big eater to help him finish up the mountain of food that Mel and he prepared. Lovely wine bottles. Yes, those were wine bottles now used as plain bottles from their wedding. :) I wonder if I could get my hands on some too. :D Some BBQed chicken that was half-done. :P and egg salad. We had some trouble with the fire in the beginning but that was settled after KC got to the party. :) The chickens cooking in the center and the fishes wrapped in banana leaf on the sides. We had some banana leafs catching fire. That was a funny sight. :P More salald and my favourite, potato salad. :D No wonder I can't lose weight...I can't stop myself when there's potatos around. :P Met some new friends during the party, mostly friends of Eugene and Mel's church. I also finally got to meet the elusive lady of BohTea aka TehTarik and her sister. The pretty girl above is Jemima. [I hope I got her name right]. :P Anyways, according to her mom, she's a cleanaholic. Loves to help clean up anything and everything. :P Cute little girl! :P After dinner, we chilled around, joked, and got to know each other more. It was a really fun time of getting to know new friends. :) Then we were 'drugged' by Mel with her famous 'happy drink'. It seems that after you drink it, you'll be very happy. :P Which was quite true as the group got a little 'happy' [read : crazy] after drinking the drink. :P Maybe it was the food or maybe because it was quite late already but it could just be the drink. We'll never know til the next party, would we? :P Try it and let me know if you got the same effect as us. ;)
