Je suce aux examens!
I think most of u all would be able to guess who this person is. :) This is acrylics on canvas, using Vincent Van Gogh's style and done by Brandon in just 1 night. Really interesting..i'm not sure if u can see it on this photo but on the actual painting, the impasto technic is very evident. Too bad it was rejected by Mr. Foad because Vincent Van Gogh does not do close-up works such as this..so Brandon would have to re-do his work. Poor guy, this artwork kinda came out quite nicely in my point of view. :) Most of the people that looked at it the first time could actually recognize who the person in the paining was..so not a bad job i must say. :) Mine is still in the process of completion..so will try to get a photo out but before i do that..i took 3 other photos of my college-mates' artwork..so i'll be featuring their work here for the next few postings. :) Hope u guys out there like their work. I mean we're not good painters..well,not all of us but at least we gave it our best..so thats what matters most. :)
This morning was kinda late for college cause i couldnt wake up early again..sigh,dunno why but these few days i've not been getting a good night's rest..always waking up feeling really tired and lethargic. I really hope i'm not going to fall sick because of it..too much work right now..the semester is going to end in another 2 weeks..so really not alot of time to spare at all. But the best thing about this morning was that..i manage to see a really nice blue sky with large white clouds on the way into CyberJaya..its been awhile since i've actually seen such skies in the morning..or maybe its because there's always some work thats in my mind and occupying me so much that i didnt take time to look around the beautiful scenes that i'm passing on the way to college.
Oh well, didnt do much in the morning except wait for Brandon's group to finish their presentation and go for lunch..did have a Communication Studies [ERS] exam in the afternoon though from 2pm to 5pm. Man,i really flunked that exam..wasnt prepared for it cause i missed the last class that was meant to brief us on what to expect for the exam. Argh, what a numbskull! Anyways, there were 2 parts to the exam..first was the reading section where they give us a few paragraphs to read and then answer the questions..fairly easy..then the next one was an essay section where we were given 3 articles which we're suppose to read and then do a compare and contrast essay of 400 to 500 words..In which i totally blew cause that was the thing that i didnt know how to do it...And to make matters worse..i kinda fell asleep during the first 20 minutes of the essay section cause i was really tired as i said before and the 3 articles werent attention grabbing articles so..halfway through my reading..i fell asleep..i only woke up when i heard Ms. Bakia saying something about those that have finished can hand in their test papers and leave. Was really asking for it..haha. :P Even though i slept,i did manage to write i think around 200 words so i guess i should get something from my essay even though i have NO idea what so ever on how to write a compare and contrast essay. Anybody care to enlighten me about this matter? :D
After college was prayer meeting around 8.30pm..was on duty to play the guitar today..but was also suppose to have attended Pooi Yian's father's funeral service..actually,i wanted to go tonight but this morning i managed to check my emails and i received an email from Eng Kok saying that only youth leaders and workers are encouraged to go tonight because the prayer meeting with a special speaker is still on as scheduled..to me when they use the words 'youth leaders and workers'..that does not include me in that category..so i was kinda disappointed that he said that..but eventually i found out from Eng Kok that it wasnt the case..so whatever..next time they shouldnt use such words..just go straight to the point..whats with all these bombastic words and sentences for? It will only confuse people..Anyways,tomorrow morning there's gonna be a last service around 10am before they proceed to Nilai for the funeral or cremation..i'm not so sure..So guess i better get off and start on some of my work and go to bed early..tomorrow's gonna be another long day cause there's the funeral service to attend then there's YF service and at night there's the Christmas practice..and above all that i still have to finish my college assignments and also get some more samples done for the Christmas flyers which Li Ann and i were suppose to work on and come out with some prints to show the Christmas committee this Sunday. Sigh,i really wish i'm a wizard with Adobe softwares cause then i dont need to rely on Li Ann to help me visualize my ideas..I have some ideas floating in my mind right now but i cant get it onto softcopy neither can i manage to sketch/draw it out..so i'm like a handicapped person..so frustrating. Anyways, Bonne nuit, mes amis." "Au revoir."
