Got back from college about an hour ago..was trying to pack some of the stuffs i'll need for tomorrow's studio photo session. Packed quite alot of stuffs for the shoot cause i still dont have a solid plan of what i'm going do with my props. :D So i'll just bring most of my kubricks and some of my soft-toys and a small stage that i can use to place my props on. :) Bought 2 rolls of film that i'll be needing for this shoot before i came back from Foto Suria in Jaya Supermarket in SS14. Cost me like RM61 just for 2 rolls of Fuji ISO 100 slidefilm and 2 rolls of normal ISO 400CN colorfilm. I havent even calculate the amount that i'm gonna need to pay for the developing and printing yet..Man,i really hope i dont screw this photography subject up else i'll have to repeat the subject and i'll have to spend some more just to do the same stuffs i've been doing this semester.
Today was pretty easy..just had to do a presentation for ERS in the morning which only lasted like 1 hour..then had the rest of the day off..which i could have used to continue to work on my Life Drawing/History of Art integrated project but i had to wait for Li Ann to finish class around 4pm so i went to Putri's place with Oja to hang out til it was time to pick Li Ann up. Well,i guess it doesnt matter whether i got home earlier or not cause i kinda got into this routine [read : habit] in which i can only work during the night..hehe..so guess it doesnt really matter if i was home earlier or not. :)
Saw something really funny today while i was on my way up to my apartment..there was this mom and her 2 kids with her, a boy and a girl..pretty young kids i would say..just started learning how to walk..So they got into the lift and the boy as usual like all boys at that age..wanted to press the buttons..actually i was pretty amazed that the little kid knew which button to press to keep the door open so anyway..we got in and we pressed the button to our respective floors..then when they got to their floor..the mom was trying to get the boy to get off the lift but he didnt want to..so he pressed the close button..but the mom pressed the open button and forced the boy out..guess the open button didnt respond to the mom and the door actually stared closing while the boy was walking out while staring at me..and so he banged into the door of pretty hard..quite funny i would say..haha. :P Sorry,if i sound mean..but the mom said to the boy the he deserves it..haha. ;) so i guess its ok for me to laugh..haha. ;)
Oh,there was also another funny incident that happened today. :D This happened while Oja, Putri, Zaza, Yanna and i were leaving college around 12pm at the parking lot. :D Well,my car was parked next to Yanna's car and she had some trouble trying to start her car..so we initially thought it was because of the car battery..so we took out the jumper cables and hooked everything up and then the girls tried to start the car a few times but it didnt work so i went over to try it myself and then i found out what was the problem. :D Yanna was driving an automatic transmission car..so maybe now u might have figured out what was the reason why we couldnt start the car. :D She forgot to put the car trasmission to P and left the transmission to D4 so that is why her Kelisa couldnt start..haha..and all this while trying to jump-start the car with the jumper cables and everything, we could have solve the problem without me positioning my car for the jumper cables and she calling her mom to tell her that the car couldnt start..hehe. :P So it was a pretty interesting day for me. :D
Oh well, better go have my dinner then get some work done. Oh yeah,i wonder if anyone can recognize this person in the painting..This is done also with acrylics on canvas by Ian..one of my ADOM course-mates. :) Also following the style of Vincent Van Gogh..the 3 paintings that i've posted so far is erm..considered ok i guess but the next posting i'll be posting a 'B+' work..and i must say it is one of the best among the ADOM class..well,among those that i've seen so far lar. :) Anyways, enjoy..do bear in mind that this painting is done by someone that has no background in working with acrylics and canvas..and so he has no professional training and he has done his best and have no regrets..haha. :P Pretty lame i know..but hey, everybody seems to like William Hung..so why not..haha. ;) "Au revoir, mes amis."
