Eric Li, the pianist of the group. :) Hailing from Hong Kong..also have been seeing him perform since the beginning and also at Alexis Bistro, Great Eastern Mall, Jalan Ampang.

Kevin, the saxophonist for Jose Thomas & Groove Unction. :) Very friendly person..good stuffs from him since the first time i saw him perform at the first or second Carls Jazz Fest, Mont Kiara..which is now known as the Sunrise Jazz & Rhythm Fest.

Yes, I was there again last night for The Solianos and Jose Thomas & Groove Unction. Bloody good set last nite. :D What a big difference separating the newbies to the show and those that have been there since the beginning. :D If you can find the little kid standing near the metal poles..he was one funny kid..i think he's related to John Thomas..anyways,he was running around and making funny scenes while the mom..i guess the lady that was running after him is his mom. :) The kid was actually running after this girl in red cheongsam around the stage area. :P Really funny sight. :)

Seen this from Ikea before? :D Got this from Oja yesterday when we were all at the Sunrise Jazz & Rhythm Fest 2005, Mont Kiara. Pretty interesting stuffs from coming out of the Ikea factory that's for sure. :D

Even though she spelt my name with a 'Y' instead of an 'I'..its still good. :D I got Fairuz Hussein to autograph my copy of her latest album..which features Preach and Oja in one of her songs. :)

I know this photo doesn't do justice for the place..but I couldn't get a better shot cause by the time i managed to take a photo...most of us were already busy eating...including me. hehe. :P Went there to celebrate Pooi Yian's birthday...about 12 of us there making quite a racket and enjoying the food and sweating as though we just finished running a 10km route. :D Pretty cheap i guess looking at the amount that we ordered and it only cost about RM9 per person..so pretty good..and quite unexpected to find such a restaurant in Puchong. :D Definitely deserve another visit...absolutely have to sit outside the next round. ;)

Finally..i've found this uber-expensive mobile on sale in Malaysia. :D Heard that it was on sale at the Carat Club but never had the chance to go look at it in person cause i had no reason nor money to go visit The Carat Club...yet. ;) Vertu's the name. :) And this is the Ascent model with the leather wrapping on the back and side of the phone. :) The Signature model is the one to-die-for because you have the option to pick the platinum cover or the white gold or the gold models. :) There are others but why bother mentioning them after you've heard about the best. :) Definitely on my wish-list for Christmas. :D

Went to KLCC with Li Ann and Li Mei yesterday afternoon cause Li Ann was meeting up with Diana before she starts working on Monday..so since Li Mei and I had nothing much to do..so we tagged along and found the Petronas Gallery which was having a Petronas Art Collection Series 2 exhibition. Pretty good stuffs i have to say. :D Especially liked Tara Sosrowardoyo's photo journalistic images of Malaysia's last premier Tun Mahathir Mohamad and family, Simryn Gill's 'Dalam' exhibition..a must see i would say. :) and also Ismail Hashim's photo collage. :) Worth going for a visit. :D

This cat here was fed quite well by me after we finished eating at Nasi Lemak Tanjung Puteri...so well fed that he/she decided to rest underneath my chair. :D Took me awhile to get him/her to look at the camera. :) Abit the camera-shy. ;)

Here's another shot of the Nasi Lemak Tanjung Puteri place in Hartamas. :) Went there again last night with Li Ann, Li Mei and Eric. Man,i finally realise that after fasting the whole day, you should never never have spicy stuff to break fast. :D Anyways,couldn't really help it cause i've been on this craving spree for spicy stuffs since i was forcefully stopped for awhile cause my stomach was giving me really bad trouble some time back. :) Anyways, this is a really nice place to go if you're looking for good nasi lemak and also nice malay, chinese & english music from the '40s and '50s..here's the place to visit. :)

Went for dinner around 9.30pm today. :D was waiting for Kelly to finish work before we could move out. :) So many things all packed into one day...couldn't even decide what to do. ;) Was invited to go watch Fantastic Four at 1 Utama with Nelson, Yvonne, James & Christina i think but had to decline cause i already promised a friend to go dinner with at Hartamas for some really good nasi lemak called Nasi Lemak Tanjung Puteri. Didn't manage to take any photos of the food cause i was too hungry to even remember to take shots of the food. hehe. :P But it was good. ;) The place usually plays nice oldies malay, english and occasionally chinese music..so quite a diverse makan place to visit. :) Just next to a T-junction but while you're there..you won't even realise that you're that close to traffic. :D And also..Arvin smsed me around 6pm to tell me that he had gotten Raimy and I free premier tickets to watch Stealth tonight at TGV, KLCC...had to let that go also...too bad. :D Hopefully the next premier..i'll be able to make it. :D

This is the outcome after today's Children Chuch class. :D Crazy random drawings of demented flowers. ;) Definitely not because of what i was teaching that's for sure! :P Well,only like taught a little bit..most of it was Alex. :D Anyways, i have to say i'm gonna need more practice in making the kids listen cause they were really trying hard to climb all over me..and thankfully, i didn't blow my top. :D So good thing. :) But a fun time nonetheless...really looking forward to next week's activity and also the Pot-bless free-for-all lunch. hehe. :P
I have to say that after settling an issue which has been long overdue recently...teaching or playing the guitar..basically just serving in church now has become so much easier and better...Just feeling liberated and feeling relieved after a long period of pain or whatever. So wow,really thank God and thank those that were praying and trying to help bring closure to the matter. :) Much appreciated.

Today was the very first time i've ever felt helpless. Reached a point where almost everybody i called to ask for urgent help was either quite far from me or they didn't answer their mobile. Thank god for the one good soul that came to my rescue..one of the few which i was quite reluctant to ask help from cause the person is a female. :) Me and my testosterone-charged ego. :D Anyway,really thank God for such a good friend. :) You know who you are..so don't have to say much except thank you...and erm,where u wanna have your all-paid-for breakfast or lunch or dinner? :D

Great seats, good company, great music..what else can you ask for when you're at an outdoor event such as this? :D Thanks to Oja's parents..we got tables even before we got there. :D Cause Oja and Preach was performing one song with Fairuz Hussien so we got seat easily. haha. :P Its was really fun being able to sit really close to the stage this year cause usually..we could either be sitting on the floor or on the side of the stage. :D Have to say..its was great. :D Raimy, Li Mei, Oja's family and friends, Preach and Fairuz and gang was there. Happy happy times..too bad the crowd was super duper not interactive..what a bunch of uptight squares! Can't appreciate good music when it's being performed to the best. Can't wait for next week's gig. :D

Haha..caught this while a bunch of us were at the Sunrise Jazz & Rhythm Fest 2005 last night. I can't help it if i find it funny cause i like word-play. haha. :P Oh,'untuk apa sahaja' is malay for 'untuk' = for, 'apa sahaja' = anything. :D So its Reserved - for anything. haha. :P

:D Don't really see this that often in the men's room that's for sure. :) This was caught at PJ's Hilton Hotel. If you're still wondering what this is..its just a bunch of ice. :D Was fun seeing the ice melt though..haha. :P Yes, yes..i know it's very gross. :D Especially since i've been posting a few photos of food and now this. haha. :P Well,it's something that i don't see very often used in the men's toilet..usually its something blue or green but definitely not ice. :D

Went to Honey Bee Cafe at SS2 again today with Christine, Arvin, Raimy, and Kelly after a HP event at PJ's Hilton Hotel. Was at the hotel at 7am til like 7pm. But thankfully, the job wasn't really that difficult so it's not too bad. :D Had a fun time laughing my head off cause Arvin came up with a totally new nickname for Li Mei. :P Definitely gonna be using that nickname on her til the end of time. haha. :D She is seriously gonna kill me for saying that. ;) So we spent like 2 hours just sitting there, having drinks, playing donkey..i'm sure some of you will remember the card game. haha. :P I think we were laughing and making so much noise that the other people there were looking at us as if we were possessed or something..haha. :P But really really fun time. Don't remember when was the last time that i laughed so much that my face was super red and my cheeks were hurting from all the laughing. I kid you not! :D

I'm sure by looking at the drawing and maybe without me writing the names..you would have guessed which one of the stick-man is me. :D So thank you very much, Kelly for drawing me in detail. ;) Oh by the way,the annual Carl's Jazz Fest that is usually held at Plaza Sunrise is back from 22nd July til the 13th of August. So if anyone is interested in 'live' jazz..which can usually be found at Alexis Bistro, Jalan Ampang..go check out the Sunrise Jazz & Rhythm Fest 2005 at Plaza Sunrise. :D You won't regret going for it. :)

Doesn't this nasi lemak ayam look just oh so tasty? Mouth-watering? The egg is just done so well,isn't it? Just looking at it now,makes me wanna suck the egg yoke just like that. hehe. :P Had this for dinner last night at a mamak near the SeaPark Maybank. That's what we usually call the place..SeaPark Maybank mamak. :D If you're going there..ask for more sambal. One of the better sambals that i've tasted. :D Yummy,just looking at this photo makes me wanna go back there tonight for some more. haha. ;P

Ain't this just so nice. :) Seeing the bright moon out just before it got dark. Don't usually get to see this..so quite nice i have to say. :) Saw this while i was having a lonely dinner at SeaPark's Maybank mamak. Its good to have lonely dinners once and awhile. You should always arrange dates with yourself. :) Maybe that's just what single people say to make themselves feel less unwanted..haha. :P

Found this at a computer shop in Taman Megah. Good try i guess but still..i don't think i'll be patronizing this place. Went there cause it seems they aren't very honest in their business dealings with Li Ann and Li Mei's computer..so accompanied Li Mei and her mom there this morning to get them straight. Didn't manage to talk to the person-in-charge but the lady got an inkling of what's gonna happen to the lady that serviced the machines cause they were trying to pull a fast one on the Kams'. :)

Ain't this something? :) Been raining these few days but the view after the rain is just so beautiful. :) Each morning when i drive out, i get to see a clear blue sky. :) Well,this isn't really that clear but it is something since today's the first day since awhile that it isn't raining. :D So thank goodness too cause i'm beginning to get really sick of all the traffic jam that is caused by the rain. Why can't i just move to an island become a professional beach-bum? I could teach or bring tourist to the island out for snorkel trips or other beach/sea activities? :D Maybe i should join the Nescafe Kick-Start contest, win the prize money and maybe get an opportunity to be a professional beach-bum. hehe. :P

This one was finished by Li Mei. ;) Medium done lamb shoulder i think this was..and she managed to finish this and also took almost half the nanchos. Incredible! ;) Really,i couldn't even finish the salad and i had to pack it to bring home. :) Best thing is..she's not getting fat even after eating so much. ;) Why can't i be like that too? :P Just eat and eat and still won't get fat. :D

Man,this was my first time trying a dish that had bleu cheese in it..and i have to say..it's not too bad. :D at least i'm not having "Chow Tau Fu' (stinking tofu). ;) The Boneless buffalo chicken is ok..nothing much to scream about. I think i can say that i've had better elsewhere. :) Elsewhere where the service and the waiters are much more polite and helpful. :) So i think i'll give BSC's Chili's a 3 out of 5 rating. Maybe it's not really a very nice place to have dinner but more of a place to chill and have drinks and eat nanchos. :D

Well,for starters..we had the Classic Nanchos which was not too bad..abit too much since there was only 2 of us eating. ;) Not too spicy, the cheese tasted good..then again,i've not had alot of different types of nanchos..so can't say i had the best yet. :D Where else in Klang Valley could we find good nanchos? Well,where to find good dips to go with the nanchos? :D

Now ain't this something. :) Totally and fully hand-drawn artwork. :D Maybe i can get her to do one for me too..hehe. :P Went out with her yesterday after the Parents, Teachers Day in church. Man,i have to say the kids nowadays are getting way smarter..so much so that they are keeping me on my toes. ;) Was helping out in the Children Church today, and man,the things and the questions that the kids ask..wow,i have to think twice sometimes before i can even answer. :D

Anyways,went out for dinner with her at BSC's Chili's even though i was really dead tired after coming home from a full day of activities and baby-sitting. Still,was fun just being able to spend some time with the girl since we haven't been hanging out with each other for quite awhile. :)

Man,Amelia sure is one pretty baby. :) Caught this one just after SCG (School of Christian Growth) yesterday. She seems to have a knack for banging on stuffs..so maybe next time she'll be interested to learn how to play the drums or the piano. :D Might have to learn how to bang on the heads of the boys that's gonna be going after her..haha. :) Wait,maybe she won't be need to do it since the dad will be there to fend off all the unworthy ones. haha. :D

This one is more interesting,something Shannon ordered. :) I think its apple but they named it something like Frog/froggie ice-blended or something. :) Interesting color but i wasn't up for something so thick/cold when i'm already pretty zombified. :) Might go check that place out again when i'm not that zone out. :)

So just got back from watching Initial D The Movie with Christine, Shannon, Yik Siew and Kelly at TGV, Sunway Pyramid. Already watched it on DVD but thought i'll give the cinema version a try since Kelly has extra pre-booked tickets. Have to say that they did try their best to cut short a 4 series long animation into a 2 hour movie but kinda left quite alot of stuffs out that made those that had already been following the Initial D anime version long for more of the anime version. Then again,it might just be me alone that thinks that way. :D The girls had fun looking at the so-called 'lengchais'(Cantonese : Leng = Handsome/pretty & Chai = guy/male) in the movie. :) Man,i had trouble trying to stay up cause i didn't get a chance to rest after the clean-up thing in church and lunch after. At least there were some parts that were funny..so still ok. :D Then went over to Honey Bee Cafe in SS2 for drinks. This was an interesting looking Ice-blended of something that Yik Siew ordered. Wonder where they got the bottle from? :D

So we went for dinner at Italiannis again. :P Its my third time there in like the past 2 months. :D Somehow,i really like going there. :) Great food, good company and good service. :) And here's one of the few items we would order when we're there..well,when i'm there. :) Calamari Caesar Salad filled with artichokes, mushrooms, greens and toasted focaccia croutons. :) Wonderful combination but some might say it's abit too salty. :) but its ok with me. :D

So the best was after dinner, Edward and i went over to SeaPark for some stress-relieving exercise. :D Was at the Cybercafe playing DOTA, SWAT 4 and other games til like 4something in the morning. :) So that was one of the reasons why he and i was pretty much zombified and tired while helping to clean up the church. Slept at 5am and got up around 8am to get to church. Wont mind doing it again tomorrow. :P Think i'm getting sucked into the game. ;)

This little one is so cute, also from the pet store in One Utama..Nelson said he/she is either loving the cat litter so much that he/she is sleeping in it or just having a hard time crapping..haha. :P But he/she is just so darn cute to look at. :D I hope he/she was feeling better after the whole sleeping/crapping thing. :D

Ain't this little thing just so cute? :D Saw this at the Pet store in One Utama on Friday with Nelson & Delicia while waiting for Edward to finish work and swing over for dinner. :) Well,it was suppose to be a picnic dinner while watching Batman Begins at the StarLightCinema thing at Bukit Kiara but because Elaine went and prophesy that it was gonna rain...so they decided to not go and just stay at One Utama for dinner and also window-shop a little. Actually, i wouldn't have mind whether it was gonna rain or not..i would still go and watch the movie..not because i haven't watch the movie but because i had free tickets. :D I was all prepared with my raincoat and all. :) Too bad. And i just found out that i actually was given 2 free passes to watch the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy tonight but i found out about it too late..Oh well,hopefully next year i'll be able to go watch at least one movie..and win/get some more free tickets. :D

Not shy at all. :) But i have to say..she is one heavy baby! :D The whole time i was holding her..was like a workout..had to change arm every 15 minutes. hehe. ;) Cute, cute, cute! :D

Guess what i got for parking on the yellow line at Sri Hartamas...I've been working at Evelyn's office this week as a data-entry person. :) I thought if it rained i would be safe but it seems that i got this just before lunch time. Joker,if i only knew. ;) Supposedly,offence number 2 is 'causing unnesessary obstruction of traffic'. Oh well,anybody knows where's the Balai Polis Trafik, Kuala Lumpur situated? Need to go there to find out how much i have to pay i guess. Jackpot. :)

Ain't this fella the cutest? haha. :P It's sure gonna be a whole load of work just to keep its white fur clean. ;) Especially keeping the hind-parts clean. hehe. :P i have to say that the staff at The Pet Safari...well,most of them are really really friendly and willing to spend time to explain to their customers..regardless of what their intentions are. :) So kudos for hiring the right people for the job. :)

This little one is also quite cute. :) The fella was busy sleeping while the rest of them were barking at something. Maybe it was feeding time or something but he/she was sure not interested. :D Cute ei? ;) Saw some Chinchillas too while i was there..those fellas are pretty cute too. ;) Nah,don't think i'm ready to keep any pets...can't even really take care of myself properly yet. ;) but they are just so darn cute! :D

Went to The Curve/Ikano with Nelson and Yvonne just now. :) Saw their beloved Sugar-Glider...man,now i'm hooked on wanting to get a pair of them. :D Well..this puppy will do fine too if i can sneak him/her into the apartment. hehe. :P

Here's another dish that's to die for. :D Well,this might be something that can be debated about but it is one of the few really good beef noodles around town..and when eaten with the Jalan Imbi BBQ chicken...man,it's total bliss! :) Wonder when will i get the chance to try Kelly's dad's beef noodle in Petaling Street? :D It is supposed to be quite famous as well. :) I seriously need to stop eating so much like this. :D Or maybe i should just start exercising again huh. :) Starting walking all the 13 floors worth of stairs to my apartment instead of using the elevator all the time..that should help a little. :)

I know it might not look tasty but I can assure you that the BBQ chicken is the best around! Especially the chilli sauce that comes with the chicken. :) Great combo and it is super duper spicy! ;) Well,if i get a stomachache the next morning...i think it's worth it. ;)

Say what you want about this signboard but the charcoal fried chicken from this stall is one of the best in town as far as i am concern. :D This uncle has never let me down with his well BBQed chicken. :) Went to Bukit Bintang with Dax after work today, had a nice long chat with him while I was there getting another shirt from TopShop and also i went looking for a Wacom Graphire3 Pen tablet...a 6x8 is not big enough! But i think that's all i can afford for now. :) Was hoping to get the Wacom Intuos3 but that's a 4 digit price range..so unless somebody's gonna get it for me as my Christmas gift...i'll just have to get the 4x5 pen tablet. Sigh,it's too small! :)

Currently working as a temporary data-entry clerk at Evelyn's office. Started half-day today..well,half-half day. :D Went in around 3pm after lunch. ;) It was raining so heavily this afternoon that i wished i was home,sleeping..hehe. :P Well,this painting on the wall was interesting enough to keep me interested to work and stay on til 6pm. :) Quite simple to acomplish i think. :) Maybe i'll give it a try when i'm free and not too lazy to work on it. :)

Haha..couldn't wait til tomorrow to go over to Amcorp Mall to collect my long-awaited Oakley Monster Dog Limited Edition, Ducati sunglasses. :) My other Oakley E-Wire is totalled after being overused over the years and also after a trip to the beach. So this a lovely lovely addition to my accessories. :D Ain't it good-looking? :D Wait til you see it on me. haha. ;)

Just got back from Ching Choo's place where some of the YF people threw a birthday dinner party for Elaine and I..well,mostly Elaine cause it was Elaine's birthday yesterday. :) Mine was the day before..so i guess its an all-in-one type of thing. :) Good food, great company. :) Heavenly cheesecake. So all in all, a good evening. :) By the way, Han Lian is my chinese name if you're wondering why is the name Han Lian on the cake instead of Brian. :) Way much better than how i spent last year's birthday..alone in Bangsar. ;) no cake, nothing..pretty pathetic! :D So thank you, thank you so much to all. :)

Got Amelia, for the first time to fall asleep in my arms. :) Too bad it was abit too warm for her liking but still..it was nice holding her and watching her sleep. :) Man,does that mean i can't wait to have a baby of my own?!?! ;) :P Interesting. :D Well,at least i know that i'm not in the wrong ministry...helping out in the Children's Church. :)

This tiramisu from Italiannis was heavenly..just like the New York Strawberry Cheesecake! :D Think it had some alcohol in it too..so that's just enough to make me have more of it..hehe. :P Think i overstuffed myself just now...guess lunch and dinner for later is out of the question. ;) Think there's a dinner party for Elaine later too..man,hopefully i won't be a glutton again when i'm there. :D Wherever the dinner party is at. :) Time for my kickboxing classes. :)

Awaken today by a phone call from my mom. Then this came with her and my dad. :) Wow..i didn't know what/how to react. :) Looks like an expensive gift. :) Very blessed I am. But i can't help but think of the short clip i saw during Live8 on Astro about how the people in Africa doesn't have enough to eat just because they can't afford it..and how they have to mix mud into whatever spices they have to use just to make a meal...how to accept such a gift when i know there are other people in this world that can't even afford food.

If you were wondering how many boxes we had to move today..this picture would say it all. :) It took Dax & I and 3 movers with a small lorry and a Ford 4x4 to move everything to his place. :) Good workout,i have to say..but i was sure feeling tired & sleepy just now during Prayer Meeting. :)

I remember this from my past. :D I remember that i used to love and i think i still do..just keep spinning the dialer. :) Just to listen to the dialer click. hehe..i wonder why. ;) I should have just sneaked this back home with me..hehe. :P I would love to have kept this from the house that i was living in when i was still in Tanjung Malim. :)

Man,i've found so many relics while i was helping Dax today..haha. :) I have to say i must have breathed in so much dust and rat/lizard remains..i think i should go clean my nostrils soon. :) I've not seen an '70s Sony Radio before..but i do remember playing with one of these type of radios last time when i was still young. :) Somehow just turning and watching the stick thing move left and right was fun. :) I guess that just means one thing..i didn't get enough toys when i was young to keep me busy..haha. :P I wonder how much this will clock up on ebay. :)
