"Bonjour, mes amis." Another week has come and we that much closer to the end of 2005. :P Yeah,yeah..too soon to say such things,right? ;) But it is true..just see how fast we've finished January of 2005..can't really remember what i did for this month..well,except for the stuffs i did in Bali..that's still quite fresh in my mind. :D Can't understand why but i really like Bali..maybe about the same love i have for Lang Tengah and Redang..Guess i'm just a beach/sea person. :) Kinda wish i knew how to scuba dive then i can do even more stuffs..other than just sea sports and snorkeling. :) Oh well,think that's definitely one of the first things i'll do after i start working..learn how to scuba dive..hehe. :P I'm just hoping that i'll have the time to spare for classes. :D

So anyways, i think this week is gonna be filled with alot of cleaning up to do cause Chinese New Year (CNY) is just next week..so as usual..things have to be cleaned so that when people come to visit..they won't think that there wasn't any occupants living in the room since 1804 or something..haha. :P Thinking about getting some new furniture for my room such as a table, a white board/notice board thing for my room so i can put up papers and stuffs to remind of things. :) Been kinda forgetful lately..don't know what happened but i really hope i get out of it cause it i'm still this forgetful when i get back to college then i'm really in for some big trouble..haha. :P Went to Ikea the other day and i already have my eyes on this table already..and i'm just hoping that it'll be just the right size to fit into my room..where my computer table is now. Might have to get some more shelfs to put my stuffs and that reminds me that i have some paintings and photographs that i wanna put up on my walls. :) Loads of stuffs to get huh. :D Oh well,just wanna make some changes so that it won't look like its the same as when i first moved in. :)

Had our monthly family dinner again last night at some Yong Tau Foo restaurant in Salak South Garden..Wasn't that fun cause somehow i got burned for dunno what crap reason..my uncles and aunts were somehow in some freak mood..and dunno what did i do to be in their shooting range..crap. Anyways,that kinda spoilt dinner for me..didnt even care what i was eating..i just ate and got abit too full and just stopped. Well, it all started cause the Chan family was late as usual for dinner and we were all waiting for them at my uncle's place in Sri Petaling for them and my uncle said we'll meet them at the restaurant so we went to the restaurant..but when we got there..my uncle got a call from the Chan family saying that they dont know how to get to the restaurant but i didnt know that they were waiting at my uncle's place for a guide to bring then to the restaurant but i caught my uncle's eyes and he motioned me to go out to get them..but i didnt know that i was suppose to go to his place to get them..so i waited outside and when i realise something wasn't right i went back in and i got blown by my uncle..so i had to go his place and get the Chan family. Got blown for dunno what crap reason..i mean..i didnt even know what i was suppose to do..i wasn't the one that was talking on the phone with them.

Oh well..whatever. Think during CNY there's gonna be more good food and i'm really gonna enjoy myself during that time. Dunno why but i'm now craving for some Nasi Kandar from Pelita SS2..hehe. :P Or maybe some banana leaf rice from Grand City would also do the trick. ;) Man,i'm really getting fat again..some of my clothes are getting snug and that wasn't the case when i first bought then last year when i was high on my kickboxing exercise thing. :) Guess i'll be going back for some more kickboxing in March just like last year when i got too fat to fit into any of my clothes anymore..haha. :P Today's gonna be pretty routine except for some errands that i need to run..which i would only know if i need to run them a little later. Gonna go over to Sirius to collect my pay for last Thursday's temp job..which i hope i'll get cash cause it's abit of a hassle to be going to the bank just to bank in a RM100 cheque,right? I mean..if it was like more than RM200 then maybe it's worth the trip. :)

So guess i'll be going offline now to be a couch potato again..kinda waiting for my That '70s Show season 6 file to be downloaded cause i've finished watching season 2, 3, 4 of the series. :) Yeah,i've been really really free to go on a tv series marathon..haha. :P The photo above was taken when i was in Melaka with for my family trip..dunno why i took the photo but he does look abit funny..haha. :P Oh yeah,if anyone of you are interested i'm selling my 6 months old Sony Ericsson K700i and my HBH-65 Bluetooth headset for RM1,500. Aloha,people. :) Yeah,i know..i know..i've not been updating my blog..been feeling really lazy and erm..well,there isn't anything much to blog about i guess..been staying home and doing nothing much. :D Did manage to work yesterday for a Hp event at Pan Pacific GlenMarie..Nothing much to shout about but they did go to MORAC on the Elite ExpressWay for some go-karting. Didn't get to go-kart but i get burn and sweat under the hot sun while the rest of the attendees got to race around the track. Man,i wanna go well,not there but maybe go to Xtreme Park in Sunway for some go-karting. :D Well,i wanna go for the paint-ball thing first then maybe the go-karting. Really miss my AEG (Air Electric Gun) stuffs,haven't been playing since December last year. Not suppose to speak about those things cause of some incidents so that's that about that. :D

Just came back from MidValley..had fish for lunch at the Manhattan Fish Market..not bad but i think Fish & Co. taste better. :) Went to Reliance College in Megan Phileo 1 near Ampang Park with 'someone' cause 'someone' is thinking about studying tourism. Yes,for those that's asking..Reliance College??? Isn't Reliance a travel agency..well,they have a college now thats offering Hotel & Tourism Management courses. :) Interesting huh..Anyways,'someone' is still trying to figure out either to go for A-Levels or ADP (American Degree Program)'s Psychology course or Tourism Management or become an air-stewardess. :) Alot of travelling involved thats for sure. :D

Been going to MidValley a few times, had meals at Kim Gary a couple of times, been playing photo-hunt a few times for the past 2 weeks. :) Nothing much happening lar. :) Kinda hoping to get back to college soon cause i'm starting to get lazy and that's not good! Not good at all..if i really become a bum..it's gonna be hard for me to be hardworking when college starts in March. :) Well,have to register for my new semester on February 16th..so that means i'll have to pay those blood (read : money) sucking LUCT corporate freaks on that day else i'll be barred from going for classes.

Did go canoeing with Dax and Evelyn on Monday at Batu Dam which is near to Ulu Yam..Was suppose to go for a camping trip at Sungai Chelling..no idea how u spell that name but its a place thats on the way to Fraser's Hill. The trip was cancelled cause the night before we were suppose to go, Yvonne caught some virus thing and she wasn't feeling very well and that meant Nelson wouldn't be going also and that left only Dax, Evelyn and I so that means we had to think of something else to do..sigh,was kinda looking forward for the camping trip..been awhile since i was one with nature..haha. :P Got a little sunburn on my thighs but it was ok..kinda matches my suntan that i got from Bali. ;) Gotta say that i really enjoyed the canoeing part. Was fun. :) Even had under the shades in one of the many lagoons that Batu Dam had. :) Really really nice. :) Hopefully the next trip will be soon cause we're thinking about going to Semenyih Dam..should be more quiet than the Batu Dam. :D

Anyways, gonna watch a whole season of That '70s Show later that i've just finished downloading..been on this really weird crave for that tv series..no idea why..but really enjoying it. :D So running out now to get dinner then can continue with this tv series marathon. :P Oh yeah,can u imagine working for a company that's named L J Hooker? :P hehe..pretty interesting huh..wonder what is their type of business..haha. :P Took the photo when i was in WaterBom, Bali. Just got my results recently from LUCT..better than i expected it to be i guess..failed 2 subjects..Life Drawing 2 and History of Art..and the remark written on the paper was that i am to proceed and retake both subjects. I wonder if that means i cant continue on with Semester 3. Sigh,this is what i've been worried about..well,yeah..about the failing part but also that i will be left behind and the rest of the friends that i've made are going to move on..Its pretty hard to start meeting new people again since u've already grown close to those that u have met. Oh well,i'm just praying right now that when i get back to LUCT on February 16 that i'll be allowed to continue with semester 3 and also retake the 2 subjects on the side. Next semester is gonna cost about RM10,500..thats not including the materials that i'll need and also the other fees that LUCT always have hidden away just to be revealed at the very last moment when u think there isnt any more things to pay for. Oh man,really wish i didnt fail those 2 subjects..that sucks man!

Anyways,went to Help College just now with 'someone' to look for information on their psychology courses. :) Saw Evelyn's photo on the brochure..she's look really nice on it..haha. :P Wish i took a photo of it and post it here..haha. :P ;) Anyways,its pretty expensive to just study psychology i must say..about RM150,000 if u're going to US for 1 year and spend 3 years in Malaysia..Wow,dont think my course is that expensive..but then again..mine is just an Advance Diploma..nothing great about it. :) So yeah,yesterday and today was spent going to colleges and also going to play Photo Hunt. ;) Been kinda hooked on this game where there's 2 photos and u're suppose to look for the 5 differences in the photos. :) Anyways,back to the story..so 'someone' is now looking around for psychology courses and also maybe tourism. :) but i have a feeling that 'someone' is still unsure about what 'someone' wants to do..so i'm guessing 'someone' is going for A Levels.

Going out for EuroDeli later around 8pm with 'someone'. :) Been craving for that place since the last time i went there with Nelson for dinner. :D Man,that place is really really good! ;) Anyone that loves pork, just head for that place.. :) The price is about average for a well-to-do place i guess..but the its worth every penny! ;) Seriously gotta go check it out. :P Man,my blog's starting to become like a food review column. ;) Nah,good with words and journalism so this is definitely not a food review column thing. :P But i can write about how satisfied i am after having meals at restaurants and stuffs. ;) Good enough i guess. ;)

The weekend was fun. :) Was suppose to go out for supper with my old college friends but it was cancelled again..so i guess we might meet soon. :P Nothing's set-up yet at the moment but i guess there'll be tons of chances to meet up again. :) Maybe if i ask them to go for a game of snooker or pool then they would show up or something..haha. :P Really rooting for some work here.. ;) Kinda running low on cash again. ;) Plus,i've been really bored since i came back from Bali. ;) Just sitting around waiting for college to start again and get so damn busy that i'll burst! hehe. :P Oh yeah,am happy about myself though.. :D managed to go for a jog with Dax & Evelyn on Sunday evening at Kiara..thats the first exercise i've gotten since i came back from Bali..well,not that i did any exercise in Bali but i did go to the beach and surfed and body surfed and i did alot of walking around..so i guess that's alot of exercise. haha. :P

Man,i miss my kickboxing classes alot! Really wish i can get back into kickboxing soon.. ;) Just waiting for all the festivals to end cause there's too much eating going on for me to be exercising and going on a diet..haha. :P Think i'm going offline and watching my freshly downloaded season 3 of 'That 70s Show'. Wonder how would it be like to be living in the 70s in Malaysia..hehe. ;) Things would be so darn cheap but then again u aint earning alot too huh. ;) Wonder hows the disco scene like during the 70s in Malaysia..hehe. :P I have a feeling that i would be one of those thats all dressed up and all ready to boogie down. haha. :P

Good morning,people. :D Didnt manage to post anything yesterday cause i was out of the house pretty early. :P Went to quite alot of place with 'someone'..just walking around aimlessly cause didnt know what we wanted to do..but it was nice just being able to spend time with 'someone'. :) First went to Midvalley for Sushi King then went to KLCC to walk around, and looked at some watches. :) Then went over to Lot 10 and Sungai Wang to look at some more watches and handphone straps. ;) Low Yat plaza cause i wanted to look for a soundcard for my laptop. :) Ended up in Atria for dinner..and drove around again til we got so tired we went home. :D Man,i really need to get a job soon else i wont have enough money to pay for the petrol! haha. :P Maybe things have to settle down soon else i'll be running out of molas soon. ;) Really wish things would work out soon then we can spend time at each other's place. :) So that was it for yesterday i guess.. :) Pretty dull to some maybe but i had fun. :) Saw some stuffs that i wanted to buy but didnt have enough money..so gotta save up before i could do anything about the cravings i have to buy them on the spot..haha. :P

Thursday had alot of driving in it too. :P Told ya'll that we loved to drive around aimlessly..haha. :P but we did have a place to go to cause i kinda planned to go Port Dickson for the sunset. :D so we went to Midvalley again to play photohunt first. :) We're pretty much addicted to that game already..haha. :P then got down to Port Dickson for the sunset..it was kinda cloudy so didnt manage to see it actually going down but the colors during that time was fantastic..took some photos with 'someone's camera..hopefully i can get them too then i can post them here or on my webshots. :) Went over to Naili's Place for dinner..they had renovated the whole place..so it looks much nicer and cleaner now..haha. :P Slightly brighter than before but it's ok. :) Its the person(s) that u are with that matters most...the place is just a plus-point. :D

Gonna go look for food now..thinking maybe i'll just cook some instant noodles or something..feeling kinda lazy to move around today. ;) Gotta go for supper with my old college friends today. Suppose to have met up on Wednesday night but it was cancelled..still not sure where we're going to go but it'll be fun..been a long time since i've met up with them. :) Oh yeah,before i forget..the photo was taken just after the sunset on Kuta beach. :) L-R : me, Noriko, Kadek, Gusti, Yoshi. Woke up today with a bad stomachache..sigh,must have been the banana leaf rice and the nasi lemak i had for lunch and supper yesterday. ;) Guess i should have waited til my stomach was feeling better before embarking on those spicy and tasty food. :P Oh well,i cant help it...a sucker for spicy food. :D Had lunch with my old college from that i met when i was in Informatics, PJ. He just came back from Australia after studying Electrical Engineering. Looking for a job right now..cant believe that it has been 2 years since he went over and now he's already back and done with college and university. Man,i'm still stuck in college/university and still have to endure another 2 years before i'm done. Suppose to have met up with him and another friend from Informatics last night for supper but it was too late so made arrangements to meet up on Saturday. Really cant believe thats i've known them for so long already..Done alot of stuffs with them too..haha. :P

Spent most of our college days playing snooker, went to the cyber cafes to play games also..so pretty much played alot with them..maybe thats why we all just dropped out of Informatics..hehe. :P Didnt regret any bit of it..really thankful for meeting those 2 guys..cause i think by far..those 2 guys are closer to me than any of the friends that i've met in LUCT..maybe time in LUCT will tell. :D Even went up to Genting Highland's casino with them..wait,dont go jumping to conclusions first..i didnt gamble or anything just went to teman (accompany) those fellas. I'm guessing some of the Christians would be saying right now.. "WHAT?!!? u should go into those places..u've gotta make a stand and say NO!" And i say.."WHATEVER!" i know myself..and those guys know me that i wont gamble but they appreciate my company. Oh well,dont want to start some great debate so early in the morning..not in the mood for that. :)

So anyways,yeah..spent some time with that friend of mine yesterday before going to church for prayer meeting..had to cover for Eugene on the acoustic guitar..Really enjoy playing the guitar in church..thats one of the things that makes me feel that God is still there. Being able to reach a place in worship that i dont know how else i can reach with other ways. Maybe other people have other methods but i just really love it when i play the guitar and make music. :) being able to bring other people to a closer place in worship, makes me really happy too. Really hope i wont lose that gift. :) For today..i hope that it wont rain in the evening time..gonna go somewhere further than Klang Valley with 'someone' in the evening..hopefully it'll be a fun and nice time. :) We're running out of places to go in KL and PJ..hehe..oh well,guess all we need is just a place that we can actually sit down and talk without being harassed or disturbed by people. :D

Got a letter from LUCT yesterday..was so freaked out cause i thought it might be my results but thank God that its only a course fees advise form..which simply means how much i..wait, i mean my parents have to pay for my college fees for the coming semester..about RM10,500..yeah..its pretty expensive to be studying in LUCT. I'm really praying and hoping that i didnt fail any of the subjects and i wont start failing cause it cost too much and takes too much time if i do..Sigh,maybe i should just move to Bali and become a lifeguard or start a business in Bali or something like that. ;) Then i wont need to study and get so stressed up about having to pass all the subjects that i'm taking cause it'll cost a load of cash to retake the subject(s) that i failed. Well,it hurts even more cause i have to make my parents pay it for me..i mean..if it was my money..it would still hurt but i wont feel as bad i guess..Oh well,going offline soon..gonna get ready or something. Feel like i need to go to the toilet again..sigh,curse this stomachache that i'm having!! ;) Its really starting to annoy me..usually i'll just breeze through it but this one is really annoying me cause its lasting longer than usual.

Yes,there is McDonalds in Bali..and Ronald McDonalds in Bali loves to surf..hehe. :P Man,those guys are such posers! ;) I mean..they should know that they arent the main stars on my photo..but they still wanted to pose for me. hehe. :P i guess people in Bali are crazy! ;)

*YAWN* man,i really wish i could sleep longer..only manage to get to bed around 3.30am..couldnt sleep cause i took a nap in the afternoon. :P Maybe i better lay off the afternoon naps soon else i wont be able to stay awake for afternoon classes when college starts in February. :) Suppose to be working today but got an sms from Evelyn yesterday telling me that there's been a change of plans so she'll inform me when i can start work.. :) Oh well,at least then i have go back to lazing around and relaxing. :P Was kinda hoping to able to earn some extra mulahs. :D Been going out quite often since i came back from Bali with 'someone' so kinda need the extra cash. ;) I mean,people..u know how it is. :)

So went up to Genting on Monday afternoon for awhile with 'someone'..super duper cold! ;) It was full of mist and had a slight drizzle..plus i was only wearing a t-shirt with shorts and flip-flops and 'someone' was wearing sleeveless and flip-flops too..hehe..i think alot of people there must be thinking we're crazy or something. :P I mean some of them were wearing scarfs, winter jackets and stuffs but only the both of us were with shorts and stuffs..hehe. :P Oh well,just for the fun of it. :) Went to the Ripley' s Believe It Or Not exhibition..really really interesting. Didnt even realise that we spent 2 hours just walking around in the place. :D So that was basically Monday for me. :)

Then yesterday..was suppose to at least try to clean up and pack my room cause Chinese New Year (CNY) is just around the corner. :) February 9th to be exact..so that doesnt leave me with much time to clean up my room since i'm thinking about moving some furniture in my room. :) Wanted to put up a painting that i bought like 2 years ago but didnt have the chance to put it up cause my brother was occupying my room so kinda difficult for me to do anything to it.. :) Hoping to bring back my nice Ikea carpet as well..and maybe move away the computer table that i have now and get a nice flat table to do my art assignments and also put my powerBook G4 and stuffs. :) Loads of ideas to revamp my room but cant do anything yet cause i havent ask my parents if i can go to Ikea to get some materials to put into my room. ;) Wanna put some more shelfs on my wall too..Sigh,really have alot of ideas but cant do anything yet. ;)

Been driving aimlessly around town with 'someone'..I must say that 'someone' and i have alot of things in common..which is good news to me. ;) 'Someone' loves to sit in the car and be driven around aimlessly as well..thats cause 'someone' cant drive yet. ;) So it was really fun being able to drive around and yesterday we drove around Batu Caves and Selayang..which brought back alot of memories to me..cause i used to cycle to those areas when i was in secondary school. :) The most vivid memory that came to me was the one when 3 of my friends and i cycled all the way up to Genting when i think we were just in Form 1. ;) Must say it was the best times and experience that i have ever experience but to think back right now..i've gotta say that it was the stupidest thing we've ever done. ;) Imagine all the danger that we were faced with but it just didnt cross our minds. :P We just wanted to cycle all the way up and take some photos to prove to people that we made it up by cycling. :P Maybe thats why kids/teenagers achieve more of their dreams than adults. :) They are crazy enough to live their dreams..i think i wanna keep that too but i guess adults think too much and consider too many things and never actually try to just take one step and move out.

Maybe that is why sometimes adults in church behave the same way too..I see some of the younger ones want to do radical stuffs or things that they think can work but are stopped by people that think too much about the possibilities and allow those little obscure possibilities that might never even come true to stop them from believing in God for the dream to come true. Oh well,who am i to say..since i am also sometimes guilty of that. ;) So erm..where was i? hehe. :P yeah,memories from my past came back to me while we were driving around those places last night..I've gotta say that i enjoy those aimless trips around town cause i've gotten to know 'someone' much better now and i guess 'someone' knows me more too. :) Which is a very good start to a relationship i guess. :) Not really an expert on relationships..didnt do very well on the past few..so i'm just praying really hard and hoping that this one will work out..cause this 'someone' clicks really well with me..maybe time will tell huh. :)

Yeah,the other crazy part of the cycling expedition to Genting Highlands was really really dangerous cause i remember trying to get home and i was cycling on the fast lane of a highway towards Rawang and i was trying to keep pace with the cars traveling on the fast lane..Like i said,kids/teenagers are really crazy! ;) So thinking back right now,i must say i'm scared of what could have happened if one of the cars actually knocked into me while i tried to move back to the far left lane of the highway. ;) So many memories along those roads towards Selayang and Rawang..Made me think back about the time when i had moved from my old house in Taman Bukit Maluri to where i am now, Casa Damansara. So fast the time has passed and it's gonna be the 2nd CNY i spend here..maybe have to spend it at the new house at Mutiara Damansara but i have a feeling that the place isnt really ready for visitors yet. :)

I could still remember how much i didnt want to move from my old house cause there's really alot of memories there..yeah,yeah..call me sentimental or whatever, guess i'm just a very emotional person. :) Still remember alot of stuffs that happened in that house. :) The laughters and the tears that flowed in that house..still remembered how after i got scolded by my mom i would run to my room and cry and write nasty stuffs about her on the wall of my room with permanent marker pen. Thinking back about it now..i must have made her really sad..sigh,guess i was just really foolish. Really wish i could have made my parents happier cause now its so much harder to try to do something..Dont even know where to start. In that room was also where i had bad nightmares at night. :P I remember one that was so bad that i woke up and i had to sleep with the toilet lights and my room lights switched on. ;) Must have watched some horror movie before going to sleep. ;) Sigh,so many memories..Guess this new place would give me alot more memories to remember in the days to come. :)

Man,i sound like an old man..haha. :P Oh well,guess i'll go out to get lunch soon..but i'm not feeling so good..been having this weird stomachache since yesterday..must have been the mixed rice that i had for lunch yesterday..Sigh,kinda makes me crave for the food i had in Bali..hehe. :P Gotta say the mixed rice there is good. ;) Cheap and good..maybe not that clean but it was tasty. ;) Maybe i'll go over to AmCorp Mall for awhile..gotta look for something.. :P Hopefully there wont be a traffic jam..I've gotta say that the traffic jam in KL and PJ is getting worse each year..i just hope it doesnt reach the point where it's like Bangkok or Jakarta. :D Then i'll be walking and taking the public transport just to get around. :) So "Ayez un beau jour."

Good morning,people.. :) So good to be able to blog again..hehe. :P Been missing for awhile cause i went to Bali for the New Year. This photo right here is what i was looking at for 8 days..each morning..its just as beautiful as before. :) Really nice to go to..i think everybody should at least go to Bali once.. :) So anyways..got a job with Evelyn's company starting tomorrow til Monday or Tuesday..which is good news for me..hehe..cause her company pays well.. ;) I've gotta say that the work isnt that fun but hey..as long as the money is good then i wont be complaining that much,right? :P

Going out to get food soon cause i'm feeling really hungry. ;) Oh yeah,if anyone is wondering about who is that 'someone' that i've been mentioning in my blogs can wait til its time for me to announce it later. ;) Gotta let things settle and work out before i let the cat out of the bag. :) Hopefully things will work out cause i think this one i really want to have and keep. :) Anyways,enjoy the photos that i've posted and am going to post in these coming postings. :) "Ayez un beau jour."

Day 1 - 29/12/2004

Started the day at 6am with my dad waking me up,telling me that it's time to go already. Woke up,got ready and packed a few more items before heading out the door. My dad gave me another RM300 on top of the RM800 that i've already changed to rupiah..I'm now a millionaire. hehe. ;) 2,700,000 rupiah is the amount u can get for RM1,100. Anyways,got to the Kelana Jaya LRT station around 6.30am and got to KL Sentral around 7am..boarded the KLIA Express and got to KLIA about 1/2 hour later. :) Man, checking in took ages. There were so many people (read : indonesians) at the AirAsia counter..imagine tons of cows trying to squeeze through a small gate..that's basically how bad it was. 6 counters open but there were like 10 lines lining up to get to the counter..and the people just start their own line and try to squeeze their way to the counter..really really uncivilized! ;) I think i waited for like 20 minutes then i decided to ask if there was another way to check in and this nice gentleman at the counter told me a quick way to check in. :) So i checked in without having to line up with the cows..whoops,i mean the people. ;) :P Really thank God for that favor. :) So here i am now, sitting at Burger King having my mushroom swiss for breakfast, waiting for 9.55am to board the plane to Bali. :)

Bought myself a HotLink sim pack cause i wanted a number thats free international roaming so that people (read : my parents & 'someone') to contact me while i'm in Bali. Oh well,just wanted a number just in-case i need to call home for money or something like that. hehe. :P Damn,stupid mushroom swiss is making me get a stomachache. Guess i'm not suppose to have such good stuffs so early in the morning. ;) Better go take a good bombing session first before i get on the 3 hour flight to Bali. :) Feeling pretty psyched and scared at the same time..wonder how do u explain/term such mixed feelings? :) Gonna keep a diary/journal so i can keep myself occupied if i'm ever bored of sunbathing and taking photos. hehe. ;) Kinda scared cause the first thing that i have to do when i get there is to look for a place to stay, a cheap place for 8 days. Guess i'll be fine since i''ll arrive around 1pm. :) Yeah,didnt get any rooms at Hard Rock Hotel cause it's booked solid for the New Year. Doesn't really matter as long as i'm here partying and enjoying myself. :) Just need a roof over my head & a place to sleep for the night. :) I must say that this Burger King outlet rocks..they're playing all the old school favorites..such as 'No Woman, No Cry', really good '80s music. ;) What a nice way to start the day. :D

Flights been delayed..everybody's pissed about it but i dont know why i'm not. I have a feeling that i'm the only one that's not pissed about it. Usually, i'll be one of those that's scolding the person at the counter for the delay or the mistake..just like how the people here are doing right now..but now,i realise that even though u scold the person or make tons of noise and trouble for the person..it's no use,it wont make the plane arrive earlier nor will it do anything to make the problem better..u'll just make the person angry/sad and u'll be all pissy and it would spoil ur mood and ur holiday. For goodness sake,u're going on a holiday..dont think its a very nice way to start ur holiday and start the morning by getting angry and scolding people,rite? What are the people thinking about anyway? ;) might even get u all stressed up for no reason at all..They even complain that its a bad airline company..So erm,what do u expect? Some people are just big huge dumb@$$..pay a small amount and expect a big return/perks. So now we're all waiting for the plane to be ready for us to board. They are allowing people to go to the toilet..and come back in without going through the security check again..I wonder,doesnt that defeat the purpose of having the security check in the first place? all i have to do is just say i need to go to the toilet to collect my stuffs and i can take over the plane if i wanted to. ;) Wanted to scare the air-stewardess by saying that i have a bomb with me now..hehe..but i think they wont be taking that joke lightly so i kept it to myself..hehe. :P Yay,can board the plane already. Bali, here i come! ;)

Reached Bali like 2 hours ago but the Customs took forever..Thank God,i found a place to stay..about 100,000 rupiah per night..thats about RM43.50 per night for 8 days. Was kinda hoping for somewhere cheaper but i have a feeling that most of the places would be full already with people staying for the New Year. :) It's pretty ok..called the Bunut Garden, a bed and breakfast place..so pretty reasonable i guess..just that there isnt warm water, no air-con and no tv. :) But hell,i'm on a holiday..i can live without a tv but was kinda hoping for the air-con and the warm water. :) Unpacked abit already..going out to check the place out and see how far am i from the beach. ;) I Hope i dont have to walk to much just to reach the beach. :) Dont have a map with me so i guess i'll just walk until i cant see anymore tourist then i'll turn back. hehe. :P Mom just messaged me..no idea how to reply her..guess its pretty hard to react since i've never talked to her much. *YAWN* Feel like sleeping already but guess i should go out and check out the place before it gets dar. :) think i only have RM34 left on my hotlink card. Better not sms too much already. ;) Think i should brought a IDD calling card from home..Oh well. :)

Just got back to the room..really tired from all the walking. :) Gonna take a bath then going to sleep i guess. :) Tomorrow's another day and i'll have to plan out what to do. So many places to go and so many things to do..maybe i'll head over to Denpasar,the capital of Bali or maybe to Sanur beach which is on the east of Bali. The girls are aplenty here! ;) Really pretty girls around on the beach. ;) My eyes are going crazy just trying to focus and walk past them. hehe. :P Tons of QuikSilver, BillaBong, Ripcurl and other surf shops around. :) Maybe i'll buy some stuffs to bring home..but really hoping for a sale..hehe. ;) Gotta bring home some souvenirs for people. ;) So i guess thats my first day in Bali..exciting! :D

Just woke up and i heard some drizzle outside. So now i'm just sitting outside my room, enjoying the cool weather and looking at the nice green garden in front of my room. So nice.. ;) Maybe it was a good idea to stay here..not so noisy and quite serene. :) Well,except for the sound of people having their breakfast in front of their rooms. :) Thinking about where to go later..wondering if i can go to Sanur beach or to Celuk to look at silver/gold stuffs. :) Suppose to be really cheap if i get silver or gold stuffs at Celuk..guess i'll have to go and check it out myself. :) Met this japanese girl, Naho who's staying in the room next to mine. Maybe i could go party with her tomorrow night for New Year. :)

Just got back, got caught in the rain but it's ok..the rain in Bali isnt as bad as how it is in Malaysia. :) Been walking around alot today..think i got a tan without even having to go to the beach. ;) Spent the afternoon with Naho, looking for an internet cafe cause she needed to email her parents and also cause we had no where else to go. :P So we just walked and walked on Legian Street which is quite a long street. :) Walked so much that i'm thinking maybe i should go get myself one of those Balinese massages. ;) Not those 'special' massages lar..just the normal ones. :) Quite reasonably priced massages i must say. :) I really hope i have enough cash to last me til the 5th of January. :) Naho was suppose to stay for 10 days but she has decided that she's bored being alone so she made plans to leave tomorrow and go to Bangkok earlier. Kinda sad about it cause i thought i found someone i could hang out with while being in Bali. Oh well,too bad for me i guess. :) Just have to look for someone else to hang out.

The best thing about Naho was that she's my neighbour so its easier to meet her and plan stuffs to do as friends. :) Gotta wait for the rain to stop then go look for dinner lor. :) Its really nice and cozy now just sitting outside of my room, looking at the garden while its raining. :) So nice and calm and serene. :) Really thank God for Dax & Evelyn's Famous Amos Chocolate Chip cookies that they gave me for Christmas cause that is whats keeping me from getting gastric. ;) Wonder if there's any more lone backpackers like me here in Bali right now. :) Bought some stuffs for the people back home, nothing much for myself yet except for a FHM magazine to keep me occupied before i go to sleep and also have something to read when i'm in the toilet..hehe. :P Wanted to see the sunset today again but it was raining. Too bad for Naho cause she never got to see the sunset in Bali..Maybe 8 days isnt really that long after all..wonder if i'm still gonna say this on the 5th day. hehe. ;)

Got back from dinner...gotta look for another place to eat soon else i wont have enough money to last til next Wednesday. Been trying to limit how much i spend each day..so maybe tomorrow i'll go to the beach & even out my tan..that wont cost me a cent. hehe. ;) I just hope i dont get a sunburn instead. ;) Went out with Naho again, she wanted to buy something as a souvenir to bring home but she didnt have enough money so i decided to buy it for her as a gift from me since she has been so kind and friendly to let a new found friend tag along with her. :) She's never been out at night in Bali before even though she's been on the island for 3 days already..No wonder she thinks this place is boring! :) I guess i can understand why she's afraid to go out alone at night cause every girl will be disturbed by the locals standing by the roadside..so kinda dangerous to be alone walking at night especially if u wear skirts. :) So i guess she did enjoy herself at least for tonight so that she doesnt have a bad impression of Bali..hehe. ;) Think i'll go to bed soon..pretty tired from all the walking..i think i've done more walking here than all that i have done combined in Malaysia. hehe. ;) Guess not renting a motorcycle here isnt such a bad idea cause i'm getting so much exercise right now. hehe. :P

Naho left already and i'm here all alone again. ;) Wonder if there's gonna be another girl moving into the room next to mine. hehe. :P Oh man,the other guy that was staying across from my room has also left..guess he must have found his group of mates already. :) Well,at least there's 2 australian ladies that moved into the room next to mine. But they are leaving tomorrow cause of them dislocated her elbow 2 days ago..so they are leaving earlier than planned. Gonna go out to get food and a new pen cause the pen that i bought from KLIA before i left has ran out of ink..bloody useless! ;) :P Cant even last for 8 days...i didnt even write alot for the first 2 days. ;) Gonna try to look for places with cheap food, hopefully i can find them. :)

Walked the entire stretch of Kuta beach just now..man,its a very long beach! ;) Thank God for the constant breeze that was blowing else i would have been dead from the heat! :P Super tired right now..really hoping for some good leg massages. hehe. ;) Crap,my mobile has no more credit. Guess i'll have to start emailing and calling from those Wartel places..hopefully they wont cost an arm and a leg to call home. ;) Called 'someone' from back home just now for 15 minutes and it cost 202,500 rupiah..bloody expensive! Better start budgeting else i'll have to beg for money. hehe. ;) Nah,just kidding.. :P Found a place at Hard Rock Cafe and also in a shopping complex that will allow people to make collect calls overseas..so i think i'll call home using that method once and awhile. :) Think i missed a call from home..so gotta make that collect call soon. Need to go to Legian Street to use the internet..Sigh,should have brought with me a calling card from home..would make me life much much easier.. ;)

Everybody's so psyched and hyped up about tonight's big event. :D I think everybody's gonna be on Kuta beach..well,for those that are around the Kuta area thats for sure..for the countdown to the New Year..but i have a feeling that it wont be as great as the other years cause of what has happened on 26th December..oh well,i'm here so might as well go over to where the people are. ;) Where the locals are just in case there are some freaks that wanna make a big bang of their own..if u know what i mean. :D Still trying to decide whether to wear jeans or just shorts to the beach party. Dont think i'll be wearing any shoes..going to the beach so flip-flips will be just fine. :) But i have a feeling that everybody is gonna be dressed up..maybe i should too just to fit into the whole party thing..hehe. :P Oh well,gotta get ready now..think i'll have to bring an umbrella cause it looks like its gonna rain. :) Happy New Year,everybody! Happy New Year,people! :D Wow,first time i spent ushering in the New Year somewhere not in church. Oh what fun! ;) I wonder if i can do that every year? hehe. :P Maybe i can party in Bali or Australia then fly straight to somewhere thats still waiting for the New Year to come and party again..hmm,wouldnt that be nice? hehe. ;) Nah,think i'll get shot for doing it. ;) It was so packed on Kuta beach..it was like everybody in Bali was there waiting for the countdown..well,the foreigners were mostly at Hard Rock Cafe or KamaSutra..and the locals were all waiting on the beach for the New Year and the fireworks that would follow. :) For me,it was pretty easy to move around the crowd cause i look like a local to the people here. :D Even when i was walking with Naho the other day, the locals are pretty unsure about my nationality..hehe. :P Some think i'm local, or a singaporean or japanese. :) Really interesting..hehe..and definitely an advantage for me. ;) I could act as though i dont understand them and try to listen in if they are trying to pull a fast one over me or i could just talk in malay or try to speak indonesian and get the stuffs for a cheaper price..hehe. :) Think for the New Year i'll try to learn how to speak indonesian from Putri, Diva & Wulan. :D then i can come back here and pretend that i'm a local and get all the stuffs cheaper..hehe. ;)

Today's plans are pretty much sorted out already. :) 11am, Lisa & Susan the 2 Australian ladies are gonna bring me around to show me where to find cheap and good food..then go over to Hard Rock Cafe to make some collect calls home cause like i said before, my mobile's out of credit and i think i should call home cause i think i missed a call from home..well,i cant see the number that called but i'm guessing its home cause i only gave the number to my parents and to 'someone' So i better make those calls soon..afters they think i'm dead or something..hehe. :P I think people's perception about Bali being a dangerous place to be in since the Bali bombing in 2002 is totally wrong. Maybe u might have to travel in a group if u're wearing skirts but overall..i think Bali is a pretty safe place to be in..yeah,u might have to be careful about certain groups of locals but isnt everywhere like that when u're look foreign? :) I'll definitely come back to Bali again..hopefully with more people and also a better place to stay..hehe. :P Definitely will travel around Bali more the next round..maybe over to Sanur beach and also to Dreamland which is south of Bali..suppose to have the best sunset in the whole of Bali. :D

Guess this evening i'll go over to Legian Street to use the internet and make some calls home as usual. :D then maybe head over to the beach for a night beach stroll. :) Sunday and Monday would be for sunbathing on the beach..maybe try surfing and body-surfing. :) Then Tuesday i'll go to WaterBom..Bali's only water park which is situated just 3 minutes away from where i stay..so its pretty well planned. :D Wednesday will be for my hair..cause i'm thinking about getting something done to my hair. ;) Really am thankful to have met Lisa & Susan..because of them..now i know where to find cheap places to eat and also i can get into Hard Rock Cafe easier now since they have introduced me to the people there. :D Even the hairstylist that i'm gonna meet on Wednesday is Lisa & Susan's friend..they've been here for many times and Susan has worked in Bali before for 4 years straight so they do know alot of places and alot of people..so good for me to have met them. :D They did tell me to becareful about the hairstylist that i'm gonna meet cause he/she is erm..gay. :) Not that i have anything against homosexuals but they told me that i should be careful..hehe. :)

Maybe if i could have used my credit card to pay for the 800,000 rupiah for the room..i would have alot of extra cash to use for food and also for other stuffs. :) Could have bought myself a pair of Oakley glasses,ok. :P Oh well,now i know how much i should bring the next time i come. :D I think if the first few meals i have found the cheap restaurants then i would have alot of extra cash right now to use. :) It rained early in the morning so i think today would be a good day to go to the beach for some sun. :) Really need to even out the tan that i got from all the walking that i've done for the first few days. :) Was talking to Jay,a lady that works here awhile ago..was asking her for some suggestions on where to go for cheap food. :) Should really have asked around first before i went out alone to look for food the first day. :) Would have saved me alot of time and money. ;) Oh well,i have to say that this trip is a big learning experience for me..so its all good. :D Can be a tour-guide to Bali already for the next round. hehe. :P

Just got back from the beach...had a great time sunbathing..wait,let me correct that..had a great time getting a sunburn. hehe. :P Lisa & Susan just left..was really nice of them to have shown me around. Too bad they have to leave early, else would have been able to hang out with them. :) But guess i wont cause they most probably would be drinking most of the time and i dont drink..so it'll be kinda weird. :) Tried to call home 3 times already but nobody answered..guess i'll try calling again tomorrow. :) i have to say Hard Rock,Bali is so much way better than the Hard Rock in KL. :D Plan to go body surfing tomorrow..gonna cost me 40,000 rupiah for 2 hours..thats about RM8++ I guess it should be enough for me since i wont be in the water the whole day. :D Maybe i'll go over to the hairstylist's place to make an appointment for Wednesday. :) Really wonder what am i going to do with my hair? Something even more radical than my plaits that i did erm..dunno when? hehe. :P Oh man,my feet are so tired..think i wont be walking alot tonight. Maybe i'll try to sleep early tonight but i dont want to wake up too early tomorrow also..Sigh,what do u do when u're on holiday faced with such questions? hehe. :P Gonna go to Legian Street again to go online.

Checked out the price of the ticket to get into WaterBom already..about 173,000 rupiah. Guess it's ok since i'll be in there from 9am til 7pm. :D Hopefully there's alot of rides to ride and stuffs to do..else it'll be a waste of time for me to be in there for so long. ;) I just hope that there wont be too many people (read : indonesians) in the water park. ;) Guess i'll bathe now then go out again..not really that hungry though..maybe i'll just go look for a place with a big @$$ tv. ;) Really hope i can get into Hard Rock Cafe again without any problems. :) I mean u know how it is if u look like a local. ;) But then again..i've been able to make people believe that i'm either a singaporean or a Japanese so i guess i'm safe. :P Man,i really wish i could stay in Hard Rock Hotel..just looking at the swimming pool made me drool! ;) hehe. :P The place looks really really good! ;) Crap..the next time i come i've gotta make sure that Wulan comes with me so that i can stay in Hard Rock Hotel for free..hehe. :P Man,why didnt i get to stay in Hard Rock Hotel? hehe. :P

Just got back from the Wartel on Legian Street..kinda gave up on the collect call thing and decided to just pay and call home to let my parents know that i'm still safe here in Bali. :) But guess what,it wasnt my mom that called and it wasnt 'someone' too so i really dont understand what happened there. :) Oh well,anyways..that kinda wraps up day 4 for me..and i must say that day 4's entry is the longest by far..i wonder why..hehe. :P Dont think i'll have enough money to keep calling home and get something for myself to bring home..but i did allocate enough money for food, the hair thing and also for WaterBom..Crap,was kinda hoping to get something for myself from here. :) Oh well,there's always next time. :P *YAWN* think i'll go to sleep already..gonna try to sleep in tomorrow. ;) Never got to sleep in on a Sunday before..hehe. :P Gonna finish my supply of Famous Amos Chocolate Cookies soon..Gave one packet to Naho just before she left..just in-case she feels hungry on the flight to Bangkok. :)

Day 5 - 02/01/2005

Good morning..never really got to sleep in on a Sunday before..feels kinds funny,maybe cause ever since i was a Christians..10 years already i think...haven't done much but guess i'm surviving. :) i think at this time usually i would be either sitted in front doing the multimedia or sitted behind at the PA area. Anyways,going out later after breakfast...hope i didnt get the Bali Belly..stomachache i mean. ;) It looks like it's gonna rain soon so i hope it does earlier so that i can go body surfing later in the afternoon. :) I just remembered something really disgusting about the beach..havent write it down yet i think. ;) New Year's eve on the beach,i saw 2 guys relieving themselves on the beach with thousands of people sitting looking at the ocean,waiting for the countdown. Ok,fine..it was pretty dark but there were alot of people around! What were they thinking?!!? Oh well,i'm still going body surfing..unless there's a tidal wave..hehe.. ;) Touch wood. Maybe i'll go body surf the tsunami. ;) :P Kinda psyched about body surfing, just hoping for good waves, else it would just be a waste. ;) Maybe i'll be able to even out my tan today too. :) Looking pretty weird i must say my tan. ;) hehe.

Just got back from the beach. Wow,so much fun! Surfing, body surfing and even out my tan was the activities for the afternoon. Met some new friends as well..a few lifeguards, a french lady who's boyfriend is a lifeguard, a Balinese,Kadek and another Japanese lady,Noriko. Gonna see the sunset now with Noriko & Kadek. Really really friendly people i must say. :) Didnt have lunch cause i got to the beach around 12pm after meeting Romy, the gay hairstylist that Lisa & Susan recommended to me. They weren't joking about how gay he was. ;) Didnt manage to take a photo with his/her though..kind of a waste..hehe. ;) Really really hope that he/she wont hit on me. ;) :P Nah,not really that good looking so i dont think he/she would do that. :) Set up an appointment for Wednesday already. :) Sigh,kinda sad that i'll be going home already. It was just like yesterday that i got to this place & now i'm leaving already. So sad! Gotta come back here again with more friends & also stay for a longer period. :D Going out again now, watch the sunset, try to make a local call to try to get cheaper ticket for WaterBom, make an international call to 'someone', use the internet & get a postcard..guess that's all for today. :) Man,the beach was great today. Wish i could stay here longer, as long as that 'someone' os here with me. ;)

Just got back to the room again,damn tired from all the walking..it's even worse today cause i surfed today..really need to get back into shape soon. :) Miss doing kickboxing alot! ;) Wonder if my schedule for the next semester will allow me to got for kickboxing. :) The sunset today was wonderful! Oh my goodness,compared to the first day..no competition. ;) Today's sunset win hands down! ;) Maybe cause i watched the sunset with my new found friends so its better..hehe. ;) makes me wanna stay here longer but i would love it if that 'someone' was with me & i had brought more money! ;) Met Kadek's old friend,Gusti & his japanese fiance who is Noriko's friend today..pretty connected all of them.. hehe. ;) Found out that Noriko works with Christian Dior, Japan..a PR manager..really cool & diverse people i must say about the people that i've met so far on this trip. :) Being here also made me lose track of time..which is good cause i'm in no hurry at all except in a hurry to relax. hehe. ;) Nah,dont have to be in a hurry for that. ;) Gonna go to Celuk tomorrow with Kadek whom he has so willingly volunteered to bring me there. Really thank God for that favor. :) Didnt have enough money to go on my own actually so now it's really a good thing. :) Think i'll belanja him lunch or dinner to repay him for his generosity lar. :) *YAWN* Going to sleep now, wanna dream about that 'someone'. ;)

Man, it's so fast and now i'm gonna go home soon..having mixed feelings right now about whether to stay or not but gotta leave, cause i dont have ay more money already. hehe. ;) Going to the beach again after breakfast and maybe go body surfing again..Gotta come back earlier though to bathe & get ready cause i'm meeting Kadek around 3pm or 4pm at Post 3 on the beach cause he's gonna bring me to Celuk to bargain for some silver. :) Gave my handphone cover to Jay as a gift from me cause she's one of the few that has been constantly nice to me here. :) Really appreciate all the help that i've received on this trip. :D Definitely gonna come back here again..with more money,a better place to stay and also with that 'someone'. ;) My face and back feels like its burning..think i really have to put on more sunblock later else i'll be flaking on the flight home. ;) hehe. Still wondering if i should go to WaterBom. Maybe i'll decide after i come back from Celuk..see if i still have enough money to go to the water park. ;) Kinda grown fond to this breakfast of toast bread with bananas, fruits that include watermelon and pineapples & tea. Usually would leave the pineapples alone cause i dont wanna get a stomachache early in the morning. hehe. ;) Sure makes me wanna go to the toilet now though,i wonder why. ;)

Wow,today has been a very eventful day for me. Kadek brought me to Ubud, Gianyar, Bedulu, Goa Gajah, Celuk, BatuBulan and back to Kuta without one cent being paid to him. In his words, "We are friends, don't talk about money." Wow,dont think alot of people will talk that way to new found friends from other countries. :) Only met him yesterday and today we are like good friends already...Bali people are really friendly. He even brought me to meet his friends at his village and also to his house where i met his family..really traditional house..i was like a big celebrity when i met his friends. :D Some of them even wanted me to teach them english. ;) Everybody wanted to shake my hand and stuffs like that..hehe..feel so important. ;) The sights on the way to Ubud and the surrounding areas were really nice but i've gotten a sore butt from sitting on the scooter for too long and also i think i had some bugs & dust for dinner! ;) The ride from Kuta to Ubud is about 1 hour so u can imagine how numb my butt is right now. ;) Feeling really sleepy right now, think i'll go to bed cause i'm spending the whole day tomorrow at WaterBom. I just hope i dont get anymore sunburn. ;) Think i might have caught the Bali Belly bug but i'm praying against it. :) Bought a silver ring for that 'someone'..i'm just hoping that it'll fit her finger. ;)

Day 7 - 04/01/2005

It's raining early in the morning but i cant seem to sleep anymore..dont really know why. Woke up 1am last night & i had a bad case of Bali Belly. Sigh,could only fall back to sleep around 2am after spending like forever in the toilet. Gonna go to the toilet again soon..can feel stuffs wanna come out already! ;) Yeah,yeah..i know it's very gross. ;) Think i'll head over to the post office to post the postcard first before going to WaterBom. Should be spending almost the whole day there..Gotta go try out the other places to eat that Lisa & Susan suggested to me cause the one that i've been going to has raise the prices, not much just 1,000rupiah more but i think it'll be better to try out other places now since i'm going home tomorrow. An interesting thing if i haven't mention it is that most of the foreigners that i've spoken to thinks that my english is perfect. hehe. ;) Lisa said that i have a slight tinge of american accent. Interesting isn't it? ;) Cool,so now i can be either a singaporean, Japanese, American or local but not a Malaysian. ;) Only 1 person manage to guess that i'm from Malaysia and i didnt even talk to him..he was in the cyber cafe while i asked the attendant at the counter where was the toilet and the guy immediately asked, "Malaysian?" Maybe cause i asked in malay and then only in english..so maybe thats how he managed to guess. :)

Man,i'm so beat! Spent almost 12 hours at the water park. Not many slides but i went on each one alot of times and with as many variations as possible! ;) And guess what,the entrance fees were just 110,000 rupiah..much less that what i was told the day before. :D Really am relieved that the ticket isnt really that expensive. :P Saw this twin sisters from Australia i think that reminds me of Li Mei! ;) Wanted to talk to them but they were with their father..and he looks scary so didnt manage to get to know them. Too bad. :) Hopefully tonight i'll be albe to sleep all the way through til tomorrow morning, really dont want to wake up and try to sleep again. Man, i really need to get rid of this blockage in my ear...its bugging really bad. Going to look for food now..thinking maybe tomorrow i could have lunch at Hard Rock Cafe & get some pictures taken there before heading to the beach to say my good-byes to my new found friends. :)

Just finished packing my stuffs that i can pack and plan out tomorrow's agenda. :) still trying to decide whether i should go get my hair done or not which is gonna cost me 100,000 rupiah which is about RM43.50 to turn my hair into dreadlocs. ;) That would only leave me 33,000 rupiah for lunch and also money for the taxi ride to the airport. Really using up all my resources this time. :) Was kinda hoping to have lunch at Hard Rock Cafe but now it seems that i wont have that chance this time round. Guess i'll have to wait for the next round. :) I have to say that people's perception of Bali is quite wrong if they think that it's a dangerous place to visit. As long as u have friends with u or u know people here then there is nothing to fear except for natural disasters which cant be stopped unless u're god. ;) This place is really fun, loads of stuffs to do and also many different people to meet . :) One thing about the local people of Bali though..they would piss anywhere and anytime. ;) Yes,gross i know but just the other day when i was with Kadek, he actually stopped beside a busy main road and took a piss! ;) It's the same on the beaches as well and there's quite alot of trash on the beach but they do clean up the beach every morning so thats a good thing. :) Young or old, they will pee and spit anywhere and anytime. Really quite interesting in a gross way cause i saw this young kid around 7 or 8 years old spitting onto the pavement like an expert..really accurate so i'm guessing thats not his first spit! ;) Dont think i could have spit that way too..hehe. :P

Gonna miss Bali and the people that i've met during my stay here! They've been really nice to me, well,most of them anyway but it's still good! :) Hope it'll rain heavily tonight, its pretty warm right now..maybe it cause of my sunburns i guess. ;) hehe. Had to walk back in the rain just now cause it was drizzling so am really hoping for that heavy rain! ;) But dont think so cause in Bali the rain usually last for like an hour at most and thats during the monsoon season for them..which is now til end of January..so it'll just rain once or twice a day but just for like an hour. Think i'll need to go to the toilet again soon..not very sure what is wrong but I'm having some bad stomachaches. sigh, really hoping its not the 'nasi campur' (mixed rice) i had on the beach 2 days ago..wait,or was it yesterday? hehe. ;) Told ya, i lost track of time when i'm in Bali. Wait, maybe its the bugs and dust that i've eaten while Kadek was bringing me around. :) Gonna try to go to bed soon,hopefully i can sleep straight through the night til tomorrow morning. Oh yeah,the postcard that i sent out today to that 'someone' will take 1 week to reach Malaysia..in which i would have been back already. Stupid,if i know how long it was going to take to reach Malaysia,i wouldnt have bothered but then again,its the though that counts,right? :) I might get a cold shoulder for not sending something back while i'm away for 8 days huh. :) Man,i cant believe that it's already 8 days and i'm finished with my holiday in Bali.

Day 8 - 05/01/2005

Shit,couldnt sleep properly last night..really cant understand why..i kept waking up, around 11pm, 2am, 3am, and then finally i could sleep til 7.30am. Worst thing was my stomach was taking me on field trips that i dont want to go on. Sigh,must have been something i ate on the beach..cause it was only after that i got the weird Bali Belly thing..but the food was really good,so good that i had 2 bowls of 'nasi campur' (mixed rice)..i dont get it..maybe my stomach isn't accustom to the food. ;) Last night while walking on Legian Street, i was thought to have been a Japanese to most of the people. ;) they were talking to me in japanese and trying to get me a taxi or try to sell me something..even an old australian man thought i was Japanese. ;) Ok,so he was drunk as hell and singing on the street so maybe his judgment about my nationality isnt so good. ;) Gonna take some photos with the group in Bunut Garden,where i've been staying for the past 8 days first before heading to Romy's hair salon. :) Still very unsure if i should do something to my hair. ;) Sigh,really tough decision,if i dont do my hair then i would enough money to have lunch at Hard Rock Cafe else i would just be having bread for lunch. ;) Should have found some really cheap restaurants to eat and a cheap place to call home on the first day when i arrived..would have saved alot of money and would have been able to buy more stuffs to bring home or do more things. :)

I think with the money that i had paid for the room, i could afford to but a new pair of Oakley sunglasses here for just 800,000 rupiah..which is only around RM300++. Dont think i can ever find such prices at home for Oakley sunglasses. :) Sigh,why didnt Wulan come then i would have been able to sleep well and in the comfort of a nice Hard Rock Hotel room. ;) Really hope the next time i come back to Bali, i would be able to stay at Hard Rock Hotel. ;) Didnt realise that the chickens in Bali would actually crow at 3am..maybe in Malaysia the chickens do the same but i've never heard it before...bloody noisy! ;) My right ear is so blocked right now that i'm just so tempted to just stick my last finger into my ear and dig out whatever i can cause it's really annoying me right now! Argh,think i'll go look for cotton-buds or something to dig my ear later..still feeling really sleepy and tired now but i cant seem to rest nor sleep properly..dunno why. Maybe i'm just really excited and cant wait to get on the plane to fly home. ;) Dunnolar,really gonna miss this place alot! :) The next time i really have to stay longer than 8 days. Wow,thats 8 days in Bali. Gone through it so fast that i cant really remember what i did on the first few days! :) Thank God, i kept a diary/journal about this trip. :) I guess this is to keep my addiction to blogging in check else i'll be paying a whole lot of money here just to go online to blog. ;) I wonder who's fault is it that got me started on this whole blogo-moggo thing. ;) hehe.

Sigh,just finish packing everything..really gonna miss this place alot! Well,more of the people that i've met here! :) Was pretty hard to say goodbye to the people that's been taking care of me and being so nice and friendly to me..sigh,just met a Korean lady,JeeHye or Sophie just now on the beach that quit her job just to be in Bali for 2 months and it's her first time..really admire her courage. She knows nuts about Bali and she's only armed with a Lonely Planet handbook about Bali. :) Quite a pretty lady that's going to Malaysia on the 17th to extend her visa from the Korean Embassy to stay longer in Bali. Gonna help her out when she's in town just like how the lifeguards and the other people that i've met in Bali have been so friendly and helpful to me. :) Really gonna miss those crazy guys! ;) Why couldn't i have met them earlier? Sigh,this trip would have far more fun for me. :) Kadek is going to bring me to the airport cause i've almost used up all my money,only have left about 7,900 rupiah..Could get myself a pack of Long Beach. hehe. ;) Didnt do anything to my hair but did manage to spend some time chatting with Yohanes, i'm guess he/she's Romy's partner at the hair salon. He/she was telling me about his/her relationship problems and stuffs..pretty interesting to hear stories from the 'other' side. ;)

Dont think Romy was happy about it though..cause he didnt look happy..maybe its cause i promised that i wanted to do my hair but i didnt or maybe it cause Yohanes was talking to me or something.. ;) But hey,i dont really care of they fight or not..doesnt concern me! ;) But then again..i'm really that handsome or anything so dont really know why. ;) Had lunch at Hard Rock Cafe before heading to the beach..the food was kind of a letdown cause i was hoping for it to taste better..guess it's abit too hyped. :) Couldnt meet Wid, the bartender that Lisa & Susan introduced to me..oh well,was hoping i could take a photo with him and the rest of the people at Hard Rock Cafe but guess i'll just have to do it the next time i'm here. :D Hopefully he'll still remember me when i come back..maybe i should be hoping that he's still working at Hard Rock Cafe..hehe. :P Still wondering how Kadek's gonna bring me and my backpack to the airport with his scooter/motorcycle. ;) That 'someone' is going to come with her friend to KLIA to fetch me later. Guess she couldn't wait til tomorrow to see me. hehe. ;) Yeah,yeah..same here with me.. ;) cant wait to see her, hug her and kiss her too. :P Gotta walk to WaterBom soon to meet Kadek and head to the airport. Hope i wont get too hungry cause i dont have money to eat already..well,not enough money to buy anything except for cigarettes or bottled water..or even chocolate bars. :) Maybe i could get some 'nasi campur' (mixed rice) for 5,000 rupiah but then again..i dont want to go to the toilet so often while on the plane. :) U know how when u're on a plane and u go to the toilet for a long time..everybody knows what u were doing it there..hehe..so abit shy about that kind of stuffs one lar..hehe. :P Wonder what will i be having first when i land on Malaysian ground. :) Kinda feel like having some nasi lemak with ayam goreng. ;) nah,gotta unpack, put the clothes to wash, send 'someone' home and sleep on my comfortable bed with my comfy comforter and nice air-conditioned room. :D

Just got home from sending 'someone' home. ;) Went to Ming Tien at Taman Megah to have a very late dinner/early supper lor..Really feel very bad cause 'someone' was waiting for me to have dinner and i arrived about 20minutes late. Love her so much. ;) Gonna unpack abit then go straight to bed lar..feeling really sleepy liao..hope i can sleep straight through the night lar. :) Actually had a panic at Bali airport cause the counter closes at 7pm and i got there about 6.55pm..so was really rushed to get into the airport..didnt even get to say goodbye to Kadek and thank him for all the help that he has given to me. :) Got into the airport but had to wait for an extra 20 minutes cause the airplane was delayed..was kinda bad cause i didnt have any more money to use so i couldnt buy anything from the duty-free shops..totally forgot to budget something for the duty-free shop. ;) Next time really have to remember about that part. :) Really wanted to buy the Dunhill Light pack..cause the design and the blue on it was so much better than the ones we get in Malaysia..sigh,but cause i dont have any USD and my credit card cant be used..so cant do anything about but just look at it and go, 'Wow,looks good!' ;) So i guess that wraps up my 8 days of holiday in Bali. Really hope i can go back there soon..maybe this end of the year again? ;) I'll be praying and keeping my fingers crossed for it. ;)
