Seeing that I've been such a good host to Irene, bringing her around town to look for good food. She decided to reward me with dinner, at Marche Movenpick over at The Curve. I really do love the Singapore branch more, mostly because it serves pork. :P Anyways, it's not that bad. :) And guess who we bumped into, Eng Kok, Ashley, Amelia, Annie and Gabby. :) So we had friends for dinner. :) What a wonderful time even though Gabby was a little grumpy. ;) For starters, we had plain Caesar salad. Quite good but if they had bacon or calamari, it would have been better. :D The only drink that I'll have when I'm at Marche Movenpick for food. :) Love this root beer, I wonder if there's any supermarkets here that sells this brand of root beer. Then there's of course the Rosti, which is simply potatos and chicken sausage, but if it was Singapore, we would have gotten bacon with it. :D Here's the salmon pasta, which was pretty good. :) I loved it. ;) The pizza was the one that I enjoyed most...we had prawn pizza and the beef version. I think the prawn pizza is much better. :) *slurp* And to end the meal, how could you not have dessert! ;) Had the last mango crepe, which was pretty good but I think I should have had the ice-cream added on with it and it would have been heavenly! :P Now that I found out that they have a little fondue station there as well, I guess that'll be what I'll try out the next time I visit. :D RM70 for one prawn pizza, one Caesar salad, two bottles of root beer and a mango crepe for two person. Not too bad, don't you think? :) So thanks a lot, Irene for the wonderful dinner. :D

Thanks to Irene, I'm now a fan of Yves Rocher products. Fell in love with their men's fragrance products and bought myself a bottle...for RM80 only with discount. :D Not too bad, good timing too since my Davidoff perfume is finishing soon. :)

That's the title of their little collaboration/tour before they hit the recording studios. :) Caught Roger and Farid's gig at Cotton Club. It was fantastic!

Saw this at Cotton Club and it made me laugh. :D I guess there are some drivers in town who has never parked in a carpark with automated parking systems and have no idea how to get their parking ticket from the machine. :)

It's my very first stage-play so I really enjoyed myself watching it but it seems that it's not that good. ;) Well, I guess you'll have to be the judge for yourself on that matter. All I have to say is that I enjoyed it and I loved the music! Great work! :)

I know what it's trying to say but I think if it doesn't hit you the first time, you might wonder what it's trying to say. :D Do you know?

Had to blur out the head cause it would have been quite gross to look at it. :P But it was DELICIOUS! ;) Yum, yum! hehe.

Dampened by the evening downpour, kinda got to the place a little later than the time I was suppose to be there. But everything worked out well. :)

Most of the people that was suppose to be there couldn't make it because of food poisioning from the dinner at P.D. The last count was around 40 people was down and it looks like it was the oysters. :P

Thank goodness oysters aren't my thing. ;) Anyways, my stomach took over again and the only photos I took was of the suckling pig. :P

Phew, finally the wedding is over. :D Ok,so it's not my wedding...but it was a huge burden lifted because of the anxiety of whether the couple likes the photo montage I did for them and whether the whole process of presenting it will go smoothly. Maybe I just worried too much. :) Anyways, it went quite well...except for a few minor hiccups here and there but overall I guess it's fine. :) Thank God the weather was wonderful, a little hot but better than raining. :D Everything went well so it was quite fun actually. :) I didn't manage to take photos because my outfit for the night didn't have any pockets so I couldn't bring my mobile phone with me. Oh well,I'll try to get them for the others who did take photos that night and post them. :) So after dinner and all the packing up, a few of us that stayed back went to the swimming pool to cool off. :) To think we were going to spend the whole night at the 24 hours poool, we got shoo-ed off around midnight when they switched off the lights surrounding the pool area. Guess that was a hint for us to leave. ;) Oh well, at least we got to cool down and had some leftovers from the dinner before going to bed. Soft-shell crabs and some other stuffs, ate them in front of our room. :D Couldn't take a good photo of it because of the lack of lighting. ;) But you get what I mean. :D Then breakfast rolled around. :) Yummy! Avillion's breakfast spread was pretty good...loads of choices and it was by the pool, so after breakfast...went dipping in the pool to cool off again. :P Totally forgot to take photos again because my stomach led the way. :P Simple pancakes, the maple syrup could have been better. :D But this is not Canada so can't ask for much. :D Ok,so I had more than this but I finished eating before I remembered to take photos of it. ;) Oh well,another time. :) Now to prepare for tonight dinner. Gotta show the photo montage again at their chinese dinner. Hopefully, I'll remember to take photos. :P

Thank goodness they did not mess this easy dish up. :D There was only two worth-ordering dishes on the main meal section of the menu. The rest were local fares such as noodles and nasi lemak so I opted for this instead.

Dinner rang a total of RM58, guess that's pretty normal for such a place. :) Next round, definitely will visit the japanese restaurant. :D This also means that I'm feeling much better already, thank you very much but the cough and blocked nose is still lingering though. I do not enjoy a single bit of the amount of medication I have to take. Ugh! Gotta get well soon! :D

Got to KLPac half and hour before the show and with LM having a gastric attack, we had dinner at the cafe inside KLPac. Wanted to check out the japanese restaurant but decided not to. Didn't want to rush through dinner. :)

It looks delicious, LM couldn't tell cause she was just too hungry to try to enjoy it. :D Fettucinni in cream sauce with mushrooms, that's what I think it was. ;)

Thanks to Yue May from KLPac, I got myself 2 complimentary tickets to catch Global Spirit with LM. Of course, I'll have to write a review of the gig on alldatJazz.com...it's all good! :D

Totally worth the RM50 if i had paid for the tickets. :) Too bad for Christy Smith though who was detained by the Immigration at KLIA the whole day and was not allowed to play. That really sucked but thankfully Wan was able to cover Christy's place. More on the gig at alldatJazz.com. :D

Performing alongside Rachel is Vincent and they will be at Westin for the next three months.

So if you have no idea where to go for happy hour...go check out Westin. Cool place plus you have a duo entertaining you. What more could you ask for? :D

Thankfully, dinner was provided to us as well. :D It was quite late when we had dinner and dessert was kind of the last thing on my mind at that point. But I couldn't resist taking a photo of this.

Guess who was performing at the Tag Heuer dinner. ;) Was quite surprised to find Kevin, TK, David, AJ, Clement and Noryn there...even saw Rachel and Vincent too. What a small world. :D

Too bad the crowd wasn't that into their music. What a waste of good music!

Finally got a chance to help out at a Tag Heuer event. :D This is was fun except for the crazy-screaming-chasing fans of Kimi Raikkonen. Other than that, the whole event went quite well. :)

If you are wondering if I'm dead or lost...well, I'm just a little under the weather for the pass week or so...hence the lack of updates and photos. :) I've been diagnosed with sinus infection by the doctor. Which kinda explains why I'm having the headaches and dizziness since Wednesday. Oh well, after this week I should have loads of photos to upload since this weekend is gonna be packed with stuffs to do. So have a great weekend yourselves,people. :D

Was given another opportunity to go for a press conference, this time is for Global Spirit whom are going to have a 3 day concert and a workshop in KLPAc next weekend. So anyways, I got there 1/2hour earlier because I've never been to KLPAc before and seeing that it's in Sentul, I don't want to get caught in the traffic jam. Thankfully, there wasn't any at that time. :D This place is really cool, I think this place is really going to be 'the' place for performing arts in town besides the others that's already available. :) Nice looking Japanese restaurant...I think this is the one. ;) Not very sure. :P This sure is cheap furniture. :D Not that comfy but does its job. ;) Funniest thing about the fishes was, they think I had food for them...so they kinda hovered below for awhile waiting for whatever I was going to throw to them. :D Well, too bad...i don't have any. ;) This sure takes the cake! :D Cement sofas...so erm...well,should they be called sofas? :P Maybe I should suggest doing that to save cost. ;) Anyways, Global Spirit will be performing next weekend...and I really do suggest that you check this group out. :D

Finally went over to Sri Paandi for banana leaf rice again. :D It's been so long since I've had this uber fattening food. :P Brought a new found friend from Sabah here because she hasn't tried it before, so another reason for me to go. ;) Looks good,ei? :P Had masala chicken and dry curry mutton, which i totally forgot to take a photo of...too hungry. ;) The best bit of banana leaf rice, the fried bittergourd. :) So JulieTheBiscuit wanna go try it out? ;) *yum* *yum*
