Another boring day has passed, well almost. :) Didnt really do much today except for going to Plaza OUG at Old Klang Road to update my Sony Ericsson K700i's software..they are currently having a Sony Ericsson roadshow there..so if anyone out there that's using Sony Ericsson's mobile phones i do suggest u take some time and go over for a free software upgrade..i know its abit far off in some far-away land but hey,it'll be fun. :) The roadshow will be on until the end of this week i think. :) When u get to the place, just look for the Maxis Centre and u'll find the counter Sony Ericsson RoadShow. :) Man,i should be paid by Sony Ericsson for doing this advertising for them..haha. :P

I think the biggest highlight of the day is that i just broke my tetris game score record. ;) Now my highest score stands at 267,172 with 390 lines and at 24.6 lines per minute. hehe. ;) What an achievement..for a bum.. :D Oh well,at least there's tomorrow to look forward for. :) Gonna be working for Sirius again at Mutiara Hotel in KL for another Hp event..Hp's gonna be launching some of their new line-up of printers..so because of this hyped-up launch..i have to wear a tie..sigh,what a drag..oh well,at least i'm gonna be getting a free lunch and so RM50 sweet smelling bling-blings. ;) Had to go for a briefing at Sirius just now, it seems that this time i'll be handling the camera, helping with the ushering and also the registration counter. Just like usual..man,i'm so used to this work, i think i should get paid more..haha. :P Oh well, its just to kill time and also get to meet new people..more pretty chicks to pick up. ;) Anyways, its for a friend..so i dont mind..if it wasnt for people from church that was working there..i wouldnt really take the job..well,unless if when they called i was in need of the bling-blings..hehe. ;) Then it'll be a different story. :)

Oh yeah, got a sms from Karen, the co-owner/wife of owner of TNT Kickboxing at Sri Hartamas..saying that they're gonna be having a Christmas party on the 26th for a bunch of orphans so they're looking for people to sponsor stuffs for the party such as food, drinks, gifts and stuffs..so i agreed to sponsor the drinks for the party. :) I just hope i get enough drinks for everybody. :) It seems that the kids had some requests.. ;) They just wanted drinks that are coloured. ;) i guess that means canned drinks like orange, Coke, Pepsi..oh well,kids.. :P I just hope i'll be free to go for the party on the 26th.. ;) Lots of parties and dinners going on during that week,i'm sure.. :) I'm just trying to not miss any of them..hehe. :P Kinda gained back most of the fats, weights and the tummy that i lost from all the hard work i did at TNT kickboxing for the past 7 months..sigh,oh well,i guess since i'm already back to where i started..i'll just enjoy myself first before i start on my diet plan and workout again next year..hehe. :D

That reminds me,i'm suppose to register for YF camp..which is gonna be on the whole of next week...man,i totally forgot about it and it seems that even though i didnt register..i've been made a group leader..how do u like that? ;) Now it seems that i dont even have a choice whether i want to go or not..I mean,i know everybody is dispensable but i'll have to come up with some good crap to convince the people in church why i dont want to go for YF camp..and i really have much inspiration for that..Guess God wont be giving me any ideas for the crap excuse that i'll need..so i guess i'm going. :) Maybe i wont need to be a group leader since i'm such a dumb@$$ trying to squirm out of that job..haha. ;) Oh,sorry..not job..service. :D

Oh well, gonna go send Choon Hock's computer back to him later..didnt do it last night cause i was kinda trying to settle Eng Kok's computer that's in a computer shop in Pyramid..it seems that Eng Kok's computer suffered a more serious problem..the mainboard and 2 of his hard disc are screwed so it's gonna cost like RM465 just to get everything fixed..tried to work an alternative out thats not gonna cost that much but i was out of ideas..so guess he has to pay..Oh well,at least with this fix..the computer is sure to last for at least another year or so.. :) *YAWN* wonder what should i get for dinner tonight..It's still raining i think..so i guess i'll go get some piping hot nasi lemak from Sri Hartamas later. :) Well, after sending Choon Hock's computer home of course. :) Gotta sleep early today cause i'm fetching Francis and Li Ann to work tomorrow and we're all suppose to be at the hotel by 7am..and i was late for an event that was held at the same hotel last time and i had to fetch the same people there..so u can imagine how Christine is bearing down on me to wake up. :P So have fun people doing whatever u're doing. :) And i'll have fun eating my nice and hot and spicy nasi lemak tanjung puteri. :) "Au revoir, mes amis."

Man,the weekend was really fun. :D Kinda started on Friday when i saw this documentary on the Discovery Channel on Astro..and i must say the animal documentaries are getting really really gross and really interesting. I wonder why gross things interest me? ;) Weird.. :P Anyways, they were talking about the mating process in the wild..and i saw this part about lions..The lioness can actually copulate 200 times in a day when they are in heat because in their pack..there's usually 2 male lions and they can get really really competitive with each other when they're in heat..so in order to keep peace between them..they seem to be able to copulate alot of time. Really interesting..haha. :P Those lions are a really horny bunch aren't they? hehe. :P It was also said that when other male lions that doesn't belong in a pack of their own will attack those male lions that do own a pack and if they win, they'll take over the pack and the the losers will have to leave bleeding. The worst thing is that if the pack have baby lions from their loser male lions, the new male lions will kill them in order to make the female lions to be fertile again for reproduction. That really crazy!

Oh well, thats extra bits of information.. ;) I think i'll give Discovery Channel a break before watching it again. :D Actually showed footage of the male lions devouring the baby lions..so pretty gruesome. I wonder how kids would react to such scenes..hehe. ;) Anyways, then came Friday night where Nelson and i went over to Azlan's place to dicsuss about Sunday's jungle AEG battle..Really fun time i must say..sitting outing under the bright full moonlight with the rest of the group that was gonna play on Sunday..Everybody had stuffs to say about the game and also recollecting what happened during the last jungle AEG battle. We talked and talked til it was like 1am and Azlan's neighbours were complaining about the noise..haha. :P Well, thankfully the neighbours were Azlan's family..so not that bad. :P But his daugther did come out once and awhile to ask us to keep it down because there's a baby trying to sleep in the house..haha. ;) Really cute girl..So that was Friday for me..really nice i guess..but the worst part of the night was while driving home..i got a ticket for speeding apparently..sigh,i didnt even know i went over the speed limit..i only remembered i was kinda going downhill at one part and after passing that part,i saw the road-block..and i kinda knew i was gonna get it..man,RM300 fine..really crappy! The policeman said i was going at 94 km/h in a 80km/h zone..oh well, haven't told my parents about it yet..so i'm just trying to find a right time..haha. :P But i think there's no right time for such things, right? Sigh..

Saturday rolled by,and it was the usual..Woke up, watched some Monster Garage on my mac, YF, Caroling practice and Christmas practice..pretty usual Saturday for me. Tried a new restaurant that just opened near the church and i must say it wasnt a good first impression..but we'll just have to give them a second chance before i strike them off my list.. :) Well,Saturday was pretty ok for me..practice was nice i guess..still trying to sing my lines right. I really want to know how i sound..and i think i sound really bad..i mean,i'm no singer and i have no professional training. haha, sound familiar? ;) But i must say the dance group is going a good job..Wonder why my legs cant move like that..haha. ;) So that was Saturday.

Sunday was the day i was waiting for. :D Been waiting for it since Azlan said there was gonna be a jungle AEG battle. hehe. ;) Some said that i might be over-excited about this plastic pellet shooting gun stuffs but i say, 'try it and see for urself.' After u have tried it..it can get very addictive. ;) Or maybe what Dax said to me is also true...i need to get out more and find myself a girlfriend..haha. :D As if anyone would want someone like me. :) Yeah,yeah..shouldnt be so pessimistic about myself, right? :) Oh well, everybody's entitled to some pessimism in their life. There must always be a balance in everything. :) So Sunday was fun, had to prepare a game for the Children Church..only manage to work out the game last minute cause i really didnt have any ideas and the internet didnt really help much..so i just improvised with a game i tried before..Then Christmas practice and a short Children Church meeting about the Children Church Christmas party on the 12th of December..i'll be playing the guitar for them during the party and also on Christmas morning during the Children Church event thats running simultaneously with the main service. :) Fun times ahead i must say. :D Well, hectic times ahead too. :D So finished practice and head straight over to Gombak but the worst thing was that it was raining cats and dogs on the way there and i was praying like mad actually in hopes that the rain will stop or it was raining at the place where we're having the jungle AEG battle. :D

Thank God it wasn't raining when i got there but it did look like its gonna rain soon..so i ran into the place and met the guys..they were having their lunch break so enough time for me to suit up and prep myself..on the attacking side this time..so the game started and it started to drizzle..man,i was praying so hard in hopes it'll stop..thankfully, it did stop for awhile and the game stopped abruptly because someone got shot in the eye, nothing serious..just a red eye i guess..then it started to rain..and i mean really rain..Everybody got wet and drenched and so it ends the game for the day..sigh,i didnt even manage to get any shots off cause i was covering the rear while the others went ahead towards the hill where the defending side pitched tent. So we packed up and moved out of the place..one of the guys offered me a 1/4 of a granola bar as consolation..which was nice cause that was the first food i had for the day. Was the best granola bar i had ever..hehe. :D So everybody just dispersed and i got back around 5.30pm. Changed, bathed and cleaned all my stuffs..oh yeah, that reminds me..i have to send my clothes to the cleaners for wash..got really dirty when it rained. :) It really fun though..i just hope the next battle on the 19th of December, it wont be raining like that..and i can get there earlier for more battles. :)

Dinner was fun too. :) Went to this Thai restaurant in SunwayMas with Nelson, Yvonne, James and Christina that was recommended by Nelson's business partner, Marco. Yeah,yeah..i need to look for friends that aren't married, right? :P Can't help it..not many people find me good enough to hang out with. ;) The place had nice tables and chairs but abit hard to sit on, well, good enough i guess ;) and the food was good. :D The concept of the place wasnt such a suprise..think its the upcoming trend right now..having a restaurant that's a furniture shop too..just like Mom's Place or Liana's Cafe..but i must say the furniture there is much nicer than Liana's Cafe. :) Had green curry chicken, soft shell crabs, TomYam soup, and vegetables. Ate alot actually cause that was my only meal for the day except for the 1/4 of a granola bar. The portions were reasonable and the price was around average i guess..for 5 person, around Rm70++, everybody was full after dinner so i guess it was worth it. :) Then we had dessert from Coffee Beans..we had some take-away ice-blended stuffs at Evelyn's place..well,actually supposed to have went out for dessert with Dax and Evelyn but by the time we finished dinner they smsed and said that it was too late cause Dax had to fly next morning..so we decided to bring the dessert to them..

And today..well,suppose to go collect Uncle Choon Hock's pc from Pyramid..it seems that Jonathan's diagnostic of the problem was correct. :) It wasn't the hard disc's problem but it was the mainboard's problem..So kudos to Jonathan for being able to identify the problem when others couldnt. :) The repair work's gonna cost like RM350, reasonable i must say for an original Compaq product. :) Suppose to go over to Jonathan's place also to fix Eng Kok's pc..Guess Jonathan and i are the IT support team for church now..haha. ;) Well,ok..maybe not me..just Jonathan since he's so good at fixing computers. :) I'm just the middle man, i guess..the type u dont actually need cause the middle man doesnt do anything, right? ;) Anyways, gonna get offline now,go collect the computer and also send my dirty clothes to the cleaners. ;) Better get it done early so i can have the whole day to laze around..haha. :P "Au revoir, mes amis."

Good morning, people. :) Bright and sunny day this Friday huh, or so it seems for me lar..i'm just guessing cause i cant see anything out of my blue shade covered window..which is good for me cause that blocks out all the bright light and keeps my room nice and warm. :D Thinking about what to do for today, suppose to make an appointment to see my Orthodontist cause i've missed like 2 appointments with him already. ;) Not a good thing cause that will only lengthen the time all this metal stays on my teeth..Not much of a complain but makes me feel uncomfortable whenever i smile. Too vain for a guy huh. ;) Oh well, everybody wants to look their best, right? :)

Just a quick question..anybody knows who this person looks like? I've been trying to figure it out but i cant seems to figure it out. :) As usual, its acrylics on A3 paper done by Mr. Foad, my life drawing lecturer. Cool stuffs huh. ;) I wish i can be that talented but then again..nah,i'm too lazy for stuffs like that..haha. :P

Yesterday's event was really really easy..no evaluation forms neither are there any folders to give out.. :) Just sign the people in and give them their name-tags..did abit of ushering..man,these people..most of them are like Managing Directors, CEOs and people like that but they dont even give a crap when people like me and HP staffs invite them to go into the ballroom cause the meeting is starting. I think i agree with Mary's idea of using the bell or the gong to let them know that the meeting is starting..just like how shepherds lead their flock such as cows and sheeps home. :) Since they cant act like humans then i guess its ok for us to treat them like animals or school kids..haha. :) But then again, school kids do know when to go back to class even though they didnt want to. ;) Interesting how when people get to higher status in life and they get more stupid? Maybe not everybody i guess. ;) Dont want to step on anyone's toes.. :D

Suppose to be going to Azlan's place tonight for a briefing for this Sunday's jungle AEG battle. :D Really hope i can make it for the game..cause there's gonna be another Christmas Rehearsal this Sunday and it usually will last til like 1pm i guess and by the time i get down to Gombak, it'll be around 2pm - 2.30pm..and i think i can only play 1 game..sigh,well at least i get to play..haha. :) Its been like months since the last game..and my fingers are really itching for some action. I just hope it wont be raining else all hopes to play will go down the drain. But thankfully, December 19th will be another date to look forward to cause there's gonna be another game..Maybe i should get myself so psyched about it cause since that day is gonna be so close to Christmas, they might have another Christmas Rehearsal during that time..and the same thing thats gonna be happening this Sunday will repeat itself..Sigh,really need to look for more people that are interested with this AEG stuffs so that we have have our own battles during the weekday nights. ;)

*YAWN* Maybe i'll go look for more DVDs to watch..been catching up on all the movies that i've missed during this hectic semester. :) To date, i've already caught up with movies like 'Around The World In 80 Days', 'The Bourne Identity', 'The Bourne Supremacy', 'I Robot', 'Man On Fire'..maybe i'll watch 'The Day After Tomorrow' later..but i cant hate watching movies like that anymore..the concept kinda only draws boredom for me.. ;) Anyways, u working people..have fun. ;) Take joy in the fact that it's Friday already..so better thank God that it's Friday..haha. :) Enjoy. ;) "Au revoir, mes amis."

Studio Shot, originally uploaded by hanlian.

Ok,this is the final photo i'm posting up that i did for my photography assignment. :) The shot was done in the studio under studio lighing..nothing special or nice about it but all of those soft-toys have some significance so i guess the photo do mean something to me..but its not really a good shot so its not so nice also. :) Cant make up my mind..thats why. ;)

Yesterday was pretty exciting..from 2 days of been really bored at home and having nothing much to do to having to run from 1 place to another just to meet up with friends and dropping off and picking up people was pretty fun actually..haha. ;) Something that i think i wont want to do too much cause of all the running around and the tight schedules. haha. :) But it was good, all was good. :) First had to pick up Raimy from the Kelana Jaya station around 6pm cause we had to get to Oja's Open House around that time..actually,it was suppose to be earlier but we decided that we can go abit later since we'll be spending alot of time there and we were right. :) We were at Oja's place til like 10pm. Yanna and her 2 friends were there too, and also Faren and his erm..soon-to-be girlfriend..cant remember her name though. :P

Been having some problems remembering people's names and what i've been doing or when i've been doing the stuffs..dont know what thats happening but it's really not a good thing. :D Even Oja's parents said that they dont have such problems yet..haha. ;) Weird..Anyways,food was good and spicy..didnt have lemang or rendang but it was still good. :) The cookies and stuffs were great on top of the good teh tarik, the friends that were there..the evening was just sublime. :) Spent most of the time talking with the parents and making jokes about what happened to Diva and how Putri reacted. :) Met some of Oja's cousins as well..and i must say..there was one of them that caught my eye..Wow,really cute girl. ;) Think she's still 18 and studying in Sri Cempaka. Didnt really get to talk to her much cause..well,guess its because i didnt make the first move..so too bad for me..but Hari Raya is still far from over..so i'm sure i'll get another chance to meet her..haha. :P

Then had to leave in a rush cause i had to send Raimy to the LRT station before going to a pub/bar called Douglas Bay near PJ Hilton to meet up with my old school friends. I was really really late for that meeting cause we were suppose to meet at Sri Hartamas' Spicy Kitchen around 9.30pm but i was having so much fun at Oja's place that i lost track of time and the guys had to called me to check on me..hehe. :P Really not a good thing cause they said i did it many times before..and i have no recollection of it happening many times before..hehe. ;) Anyways, met up with Kean Eng, Apek [a nickname we gave him, can't remember his real name. :P], Shuh Ha, Joee, Wei Ken and this other guy that i forgot his name too. :P He started working for the pub/bar as a bartender and now he owns like half the pub/bar i think.. :) really cool place, live band playing..mostly chinese stuffs. :)

The highlight of that meeting was when i saw Douglas Lim there..u know the person that acted in Kopitiam? ;) well, it seems that he owns the place..so it was really nice to know that i have a friend that's working with him..he was quite nice a nd accommodating to actually come over to our table and had some small-talk with us. :) He doesnt look so different when he's on the TV..so i guess he's cool. :D It seems that he does some singing on Thursdays til Saturdays there..so if u're interested just go to the area at PJ Hilton, where Olympia College is and there's a 7-11 around that area..well,if u can find the 7-11 store then u'll be able to find Douglas Bay.

So for today,i'll be working for Sirius in some small event at Berjaya Hotel from 1pm til like the evening..Guess it'll be fun since i have nothing much to do right now and i can use the money. :D its easy money i guess, u just have to pack some stuffs, usher some people here and there, keep track of the time and have some food. :P So its pretty ok for just a one time job thing. :) Good for me too since i was kinda thinking about going down to Berjaya Times Square some time soon..so guess today is that some time soon. :) *YAWN* maybe i'll go take a short nap now. :P Been up around 8am..man,i need to change that sleep-pattern..but then again..i might have a hard time trying to change it back when college starts again in February. :) What the heck, its sleep..who's gonna give up sleep, right? :P So have a nice day, people. :) "Au revoir, mes amis."

Yes,this menu can be found in PutraJaya at the Taman Warisan food court area. :) Well, some of my friends argued that it was a typo-error but to me if they know that it's a typo-error, they should take it down and correct the error, right? ;) But if they do not take it down, so doesn't that mean that they do not know about it? :D Fine,i'll let the 'fride rice' go cause maybe they pressed the wrong key while typing it but the 'rise'? Too obvious, right? So let's all go have chicken rise today. haha. ;)

Hm,Tuesday was ok. Didnt get much done except tried to fix Uncle Choon Hock's pc at Jonathan's place. Finally decided after much debate and testing that it might be a hardware problem and we should just send it in for repair since it's a Compaq/Hp product. Better not mess with a original machine. :D All the software that i have are 'original' if u know what i mean. ;) So it's not a very good idea to use my 'original' softwares to repair the original pc. ;) Tried to send it in to the shop in Sunway Pyramid where Uncle Choon Hock bought the machine but i was late by 8 minutes..didnt realise that they close so early..so was quite pissed about it. Just wasted my time and money, just to get there and find out that it was closed. Oh well,so today gonna go to Pyramid around 10.30am when they open and send it in for repairs, hopefully it wont take too long.

Nothing much to do today either..suppose to go to Oja's place for Open House and also for her birthday party..Her birthday's tomorrow but i think she's having it earlier so that she can spend tomorrow with her family. :) It's gonna be fun i'm sure..we'll fun in a sense that we'll all be having great food all the way til night! ;) Yes, yes..a big glutton waiting for his feasting time. :P That is also why i'm not gonna be having breakfast and lunch today. ;) Pretty 'kiasu' [Hokkien adjective
literally meaning, "afraid of losing"] huh. :P Nah,i'm just kidding. ;) Its not nice to act like that, right? ;) Not good for me too..well,what the heck since i've already started on the feasting and less of the exercising. ;)

Oh yeah, suppose to rush someone for a quotation too..Been rushing this lady for a printing quotation that we need for the printing process of the Christmas flyers. It seems that she's abit forgetful according to Nelson & Yvonne who had some dealings with her before. Oh well,i'm just hoping that she replies with the quotations soon and i wont have people saying that i didnt do my job or whatever crap. Whatever,i'm just gonna get it done and be done with it. One thing though,if anyone of u that reads this blog and find u dont like what u read..u are very welcomed to leave a comment. :) I mean, everybody needs to vent out their feelings and stuffs, right? :) Else we'll all be so uptight and doing crazy stuffs but do realise that nobody is forcing u to read this blog so..everybody's mature enough to think for themselves. :) This blog was meant just for me to vent my feelings and put them down in words. :D So have fun today, people. have a nice day. Currently Listening To : Eu Te Devoro - Djavan.

What a day..just one word to sum it all up even though it's not through yet.. BORING! Sigh,i really have to come up with stuffs i want to do during this holiday. Oh yes, my holiday has officially started on Saturday at 12.25pm when i handed in my photography assignment to Mr. Lee. Made the worst mistake by asking him how was my assignment. ;) i never learn that u shouldnt ask people questions that u dont want answer to. :D but i did ask..and i asked him about one photography which i was most happy with but he said that it was not a good photo and i could have made some adjustments to it when i was at the photoshop getting it printed 11r [11' x 14']. Sigh,oh well..at least i got everything in. :D And yes,the photo that i was most happy with is the one that i've posted here. Its a Christian cemetary situated opposite the Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka in KL..Must say that it was a nice place.. ;) but i was bitten by tons of red ants when i was there..didnt expect that, was kinda expecting to see other 'stuffs'.. hehe..but maybe there wasnt anything to 'see' since the cemetary was situated next to the main road which was experiencing a traffic jam and i was there around noon time. :D Sorry it looks so bad but i had to re-take the photo with my K700i cause for some unknown reason this is the only photo that didnt get posted the last time i posted up some other photos onto Flickr.com..weird huh! ;) Well,ok..this photos isnt that great after all huh.

Anyways, back to today..nothing much happened..downloaded Skype and tried it..dont really know whats the big deal about it..watched 'Around The World In 80 Days'..Yeah,yeah, i'm watching old movies cause i've not been watching alot of movies since i've been with LUCT. :D Funny movie but really quite predictable..so guess its just to kill time since i have til February before my next semester starts. :) Kinda hoping to find a job but the holidays arent long enough for work..but wont say no to work that pays well. :D So thats about it for today..was suppose to go to Jonathan's place to work on Uncle Choon Hock's pc..seems to be experiencing some bios/hardware problem..Not really sure whats it all about yet but if its gonna be complicated then might have to send it in for service. :) Kinda lost touch with trouble-shooting for PCs since i've been with LUCT [again] and also relying on my Powerbook G4 fully. So not really the right person to call on if u're having computer problems now. :) Still quite a big tech fan but erm..not really the technician anymore. :D

The weekend was fine. :) Practices and stuffs..had our first full rehearsal on Sunday..went quite well i must say..at least now all of us have a rough idea of how Christmas is gonna look like. :) Putri and Diva has gone back to Indonesia on Sunday..didnt get to send them off but what the heck..they'll miss us here in Malaysia and will be back next year..so they'll be fine. :D Oja invited the gang to go to her place on Wednesday for Open House and also her birthday party..her big 18 birthday bash. :) Cant wait cause her mom's cooking is FANTASTIC, simply fantastic! ;) If u people remember when 1 Utama first started there was a restaurant next to Pizza Hut..well,that restaurant was owned by Oja's mom..so yeah, that good. :D Oh yeah, and also we're all very happy that she's turning 18. :P Actually,i should start exercising again..been on and off this exercising stuffs during this semester..Really miss my kickboxing classes but there's too many festivals going around during this time..and when festive seasons arrive for Malaysians..that is only another name for 'Food Fest'..hehe.. ;) So cant be a party-pooper and not join in the festive fun, right? ;) :P

Nelson wants to borrow my powerbook later for some work i guess..so gonna have to go over to his place later around 8pm..so i guess thats all the work that i have planned for tonight..Really exciting, isn't it? ;) NOT! Man,i should stop talking/answering myself like that. ;) Only crazy people do stuffs like that. Oh well, where's the fun if we arent crazy once and awhile, right? ;) YES! :P So have fun,people..dont deprive urselves of that little bit of craziness in you. :D "Au revoir, mes amis."

*Yawn* Just woke up.. ;) Man,lots of stuffs to get done today. Didnt manage to blog the last few days cause i came back quite late..so at least today i do have some time in hand before i head out the door again. So does anyone recognize the people in this painting? Well,it looks good so i dont really care. ;) Acrylics on A3 paper..nice? ;)

Tuesday was nice..had Christmas practice in the morning..the people that was holding the keys were late..man,said practices start at 8.30am and then come like 10 - 15 minutes after..and we have always said..if practice starts at a certain time..lets say 8.30am..then u come 10 - 15 minutes before that so that u can prepare and start at 8.30am..not the other way around..sigh,so many times we've been on this topic but everybody doesnt learn..i guess the bottom line is that we dont respect each other i guess..What a drag, they even dare to just walts slowly in and open the door and just smiled and said "oh sorry, was having breakfast." And have the rest of us wait and wait at the door under the blazing morning sun. Managed to practice and fix some of the problems we had with the 'Joy' song..left practice around 10.45am.. then went for brunch with Nelson, Yvonne and Elaine at Grand City. :D Yes,had banana leaf rice..had alot of it too..guess when u're pissed u use other things to chill u down. :) Went to 1 Utama after that with Nelson & Yvonne to try to get ticket to watch 'The Incredibles' but only manage to get tickets to watch 'The Terminal'..good enough i say. :)

It was a really funny funny movie! ;) James & Christina joined us for dinner at Fish & Co. before the movie..really good food..at least for my part, Christina said she had better but thats not in Malaysia so i guess its good enough. ;) The movie was really funny at parts..Overall,a movie worth the RM9. :) But we had a snag of problem while watching the movie..15 minutes before the end of the movie the projector had some problems and we had to wait like 30 - 45 minutes before the problem was fixed so we all had to wait just to watch the 15 minutes ending of the movie..kinda spoilt it for me..not sure about the others cause it was a big anti-climax for me but it was a good movie..so might go and get the DVD..haha. ;) So that was Tuesday..was suppose to go take photos but wasnt in the mood..haha. ;) So an artist cant work well if he/she isnt in the mood, right? ;) :P

Wednesday was also very interesting..got a call from Oja while i was in the cinema that Diva is hurt and is in the Putrajaya hospital and so that means i'll have to go visit her. :) Long story how it happened..Oja invited Diva and Putri to celebrate Hari Raya with Oja's family in Johor since the 2 girls didnt have anywhere to go..so they went got alot of 'duit raya' [something like angpow] i heard..some of Oja's relatives gave like RM100..so when i heard it..i wish i was with them..haha. ;) For the food and experience, not for the money! ;) :P Anyways,it seems that Diva stubbed her foot into the metal stuffs underneath the car seats and it made a deep cut on her foot but didnt want to go see the doctor even after alot of coaxing from everybody..so when they got back from Johor..Oja's parents sent her straight to the Putrajaya Hospital for a check-up and she had to stay in the hospital..cause the cut went septic and there was puss in the wound..if the puss went any further up her foot..they might have to amputate the foot..so it was pretty serious if she actually didnt go to the doctors..

Pretty intense i guess..was running around helping to get her medical stuffs from the college so that she can claim back the payment for the hospital stuffs..Then had Prayer Meeting at night..didnt manage to do any photo-shoots as well..but did go to A&W after prayer meeting with Jonathan, Nelson & Yvonne for some waffles and root beer..so i guess the day wasnt that bad after all..haha. :D Actually, right now i'm kinda craving for some nice, warm waffles topped with Strawberry ice-cream.. ;) Maybe i'll get myself some ice-cream later. :D

Then Thursday rolled in..finally managed to get myself psyched to finish up all my photo-shoot. Gotta try to get everything done by tomorrow cause i have to hand everything in by then..well, actually..we were suppose to hand everything in yesterday but everybody hasnt finished their stuffs yet and i only found out about it yesterday night when Raimy called me about it..so yeah,it is really fun right now! ;) Went to alot of places to get photos of places and people..went to the park in front of 1 Utama first and managed to finish almost 3/4 of the film..then went over to the Christian cemetary opposite the Dewan Bahasa & Pustaka in KL..didnt really get alot of photos from there cause i was kinda scared to walk closer to the tombstones..but i still manage to get alot of shots from there. :) Because the cemetary is kinda run-down and next to the main road thats constantly experiencing traffic jams, the people in the car must be wondering what is a crazy young punk trying to take photos of a cemetary for? hehe. ;) Well, managed to finish all my film and sent it into a photo lab in SS2 to develop and print everything for me..gotta go collect them today around noon time.

Watched 'The Incredibles' at night with Nelson, Yvonne, Jonathan & Francis at 1 Utama..got some really good seats so it was really fun. The movie is really good to me..the animation is top-notch..a must-see i must say. ;) Was an interesting night cause i bumped into a group of old secondary school friends..man,those people have grown alot..gotten alot bigger and taller..and i was thinking to myself..crap,what happened to me? i didnt even grow an inch taller since i left school..only grew fatter i guess..haha. ;) Sigh,well..at least i'm going [read : was going] for kickboxing classes. ;) yeah,yeah..stopped cause the year-end is here and there's alot of stuffs to do and alot of food to eat..so will have to put my diet-plan on hold again..hehe. ;) Wont give up food just like that, right? ;) So finally, thats Thursday for me..interesting enough..

And today, man..gonna be interesting as usual cause i'll be trying to look for stuffs to do and thinking about my photography assignment. :D I'm just hoping that Spencer and gang will be having a night mini AEG battle at the SS2 playground tonight and sms me to ask for my confirmation. ;) Sigh, i think those fellas dont want to play with Nelson & i anymore since the incident at GlenMarie. Oh well,at least we still have Azlan and gang to fall back too. ;) Even though they only play once a month but its good enough for me. ;) The bullets arent cheap,ok..and if i'm gonna be trigger-happy..i'm gonna need alot of bullets..haha. ;) Oh well, gonna go get the car washed and then go collect my photos from the photo lab in SS2..Oh yeah, gotta go get the mounting boards to mount the photos on too from Wins Art Shop..Yup,stuffs to do and places to go but i just want to shoot people. ;) haha. :D sick huh. ;) Oh well, "Au revoir, mes amis."

Yes,its the 2nd day of raya and i just wanna wish all my muslim friends a very happy hari raya. Maaf zahir dan batin. :) Kinda slow today cause i dont have anything to do..well,actually i do have to finish up my films so that i can at least send them all in for development and printing tomorrow but i cant think of a place that i want to go to. KLCC and Melaka is way overused by everybody i know..so i think i'll skip those places..i have been thinking about the park at TTDI [Taman Tun Dr. Ismail] but then again..i still dont have any ideas for my composition..so its kinda difficult right now. :) Besides,i'm thinking about who's place i wanna visit first to eat and eat nonstop..haha. :)

Saturday was ok..woke up kinda late then went for YF [Youth Fellowship] and had Christmas practice at night..so that was pretty much what i did on Saturday..manage to take some photos of Delicia's eye and some photos of Marissa and Sabrina and also Nelson and Yvonne..i hope i'll have some use for them else i would have just wasted like 12 shots from my film. :D kinda mundane but hey,whatever..guess i enjoyed myself :) Sunday rolled along..was pretty fun cause after church went over to Azlan's place with Nelson for his open house..had really really good food. :D thats definitely one thing that i enjoy and love about Hari Raya..the FOOD! hehe. ;) Had quite alot of stuffs to eat there..rendang, curry chicken, lemang, rice, drinks, snacks..tons of stuffs. :D I can already tell that i'm really gonna put on alot of weight by the end of this Hari Raya. :D So much for all the hard work that i've done in my kickboxing classes..guess next year,i'll have to start work again. :D Or maybe i should just go for one of those slimming stuffs thats been advertising in the newspapers. :)

Anyways, now i'm all alone at home..thinking about where i should go to continue my photoshoot..and also thinking about who i can go out with cause i'm really damn bored right now..Maybe i should call Raimy up and see if he wants to go visit Yanna and Zaza..hmm..interesting idea. :D Oh yeah,if anyone can actually recognize the person thats featured in the painting..please let me know who is that person..i mean, its a good painting by my life drawing lecturer but i forgot to ask him who this person is..so do let me know if u can recognize this person.. :)

*YAWN* tomorrow's gonna be a more eventful day cause there's Christmas practice at 8.30am..yeah,u heard me..8.30AM..oh well, guess i'll just go look for Nelson and Yvonne for an early breakfast tomorrow. :D Maybe i can go watch a movie today..Is it weird for a person goes to the movies alone? Dont think i've actually seen or known of a person going to the movies alone..so would it make the person a freak or some sort of weirdo if he/she goes to the movies alone? Interesting..hehe. :D Oh well, gonna start downloading stuffs again from BitTorrent..kinda having trouble with Streamyx..cant seem to download and surf the internet at the same time..anybody experiencing the same problem? :) "Au revoir, mes amis."

Just got home from Jalan Masjid India..thank God it wasnt raining when i got down there. :D Went down there to get myself some henna done on my arm. ;) yeah,my obsession to mark my own body has returned..haha.. :P Maybe this time round i'll be brave enough to go get a real one done...but then again..i'll have to do it somewhere that i can hide whenever i need to make myself look more formal. :) Anyways, Jalan Masjid India and the area around Masjid Jamek was really nice..better than what i've visualized in my mind..U know with all the 'other' people there..its gonna be weird and dangerous for a lone chinese guy walking around trying to look for someone thats doing henna. :) But it was a real nice walk around that place..seeing so many stalls selling stuffs for Deepavali and also Hari Raya..and the people were quite friendly i guess. :) While i was having my henna done, this malay uncle came up to me and said "wow, look like some Dayak patterns, very nice." At least someone other than me thinks its nice..haha. :) even though it was an uncle..Got alot of stares from people too when i was on my way back to Taman Paramount..even had this lady that was sitting next to me on the LRT asking me about the patterns on my hand..she too said it was and i quote "Cool"..haha..imagine someone around 30+ saying "cool"..haha..really really interesting. ;) Didnt realise that 30+ adults nowadays are still so 'in'..haha. ;)

Today was pretty ok for me..woke up really early around 7am with nothing much planned for the day..had to start-up my mac though cause the night before we had a blackout..so had to sleep without the air-condition for the first time since i moved into the apartment 2 years ago..Man,imagine..2 years has gone by and i dont even feel it..Man,i really have to start bucking up else i'll be 35 and still be fooling around and going to Jalan Masjid India alone at night looking for someone to do henna for me..haha. ;) Well,yeah..woke up thinking about my mac and my downloads and also trying to decide if i wanted to go to college to get some more studio work done..So went to college around 10am cause i suddenly had some interesting idea for my photography assignment..so went there to do a 30 minute studio work.. ;) The other people that was in the studio at that time didnt believe that Putri and i could work so fast to get our work done..hehe. :D feel pretty darn good about it. :) Oh yeah, saw Alex and Li Ann there too..she was handing in some work and he was there for a tour of the place..haha. :)

Got to an Esso station with Raimy, Rob, Atif, Raymond and Preach for lunch..the Esso station had a Rasa Ayamas outlet there so since Raymond and Preach keep saying that the food there is good..so we decided to go there for lunch..but man,the service was really really bad..The guy couldnt understand simple english..Raimy and i was trying to figure out what was available so we just pointed to the chicken and asked what flavour was it and the guy kept saying "1 plate?, half chicken?" man, that was so annoying..but guess what can u expect huh. :) Food was ok..loved the chili though..Really nice Ayamas chili. :) Spend like 2 hours just sitting there for lunch and chatting..imagine that..6 guys sitting there for so long just talking. ;) Then, sent the guys back..even Raimy who stays in Ampang..cause i was toying with the idea of taking some city shots but ended up just driving home cause i didnt have any idea where to go..so got home and took a nap thinking that maybe tonight i'll be able to join the night battle with Spencer and gang but got a sms from him saying that the battle was cancelled cause there wasnt enough people confirming their participation..Oh well, guess it was for the better since now i have my henna done..hehe. :) But was quite disappointed cause was really looking forward for the battle. :) Guess i'll just have to wait for the 28th when i go join Azlan and his gang. :D I just hope that battle wont get cancelled or something pops up in Church and i cant go.

Manage to borrow a 70mm to 300mm macro zoom lens from Cavin before i headed down to Jalan Masjid India..wanted to do some close-up shots of Delicia's eye and also some other stuffs tomorrow..another part of the photography assignment thats due next friday..sigh,i really hope i can get everything developed in time else i'll be having alot of trouble..spending so much money on this subject and i cant pass it cause i couldnt get anything developed and printed in time..is a good reason at all..Anyways, bought myself some nasi lemak ayam goreng from the Maybank mamak at SeaPark..so gonna go enjoy it..i just hope the standard is back to its glory days else i just wasted RM4. :) Oh and also, the painting above..also by Mr. Foad, my Life Drawing lecturer..try guessing who that person is in the painting. :) Acrylics on sketchbook as usual. So "Bonne nuit et Au revoir, mes amis."

Just got home from my uncle's place at Sri Petaling cause had a family dinner to celebrate my grandmother's birthday..Was pretty ok, the food i mean..but the rain kinda made it hard to bring my grandmother around even though the restaurant was just around the corner..It was fun too having to sit like 15 of us adults on a fairly big round table which i think is meant only for like 10 people..so imagine 15 hungry homosapiens sitting really close to each other with very little space to move around..trying to get food for themselves.. :D really interesting during meal times i must say. :) Anyways, had dinner outside then went back to my uncle's place to have some durians and also a birthday cake for my grandmother.

Spent the whole day sleeping most of the time and watching movies that i've downloaded through BitTorrent. Woke up around 8am or 9am i think..i guess u must be wondering why did i wake up so early on a public holiday..well,its cause this whole semester i've been waking up around 8am..so my body has been conditioned to wake up around that time..no matter how late [early] i sleep the night before..Actually i should be waking up earlier than that to get to college before 9am..guess better luck next semester..haha. :P I guess i should say sorry to Oja and Li Ann cause i always tell them around 8am or 8.15am but most of the time i pick them up around 8.30am or 8.45am..i feel really bad not getting them on time..but then again i did try.. :D so i guess i should get like half-marks for the effort. :D

Dont think i'll be going to college tomorrow though cause i only have to finish up my 2 rolls of slide-film and 1 roll of color films and try to send them all in by tomorrow for development and printing..and in hopes that i'll get them all back on Wednesday..I'm saying Wednesday cause Monday and Tuesday is gonna be Hari Raya holidays so nothings gonna get done during those days and my deadline is on Friday..so time is really not on my side right now..Suppose to help Ginie with some presentation stuffs for her work but now i think i wont have enough time to help her and get my work done in time..Really feel bad about the whole thing cause i thought i'll be able to help her out..regardless if i'm gonna get paid for the work or not..but then..now i forgot to calculate the holidays into my timeline so this semester's final assignment is gonna be really tight.

Oh yeah,if u're wondering who is this person in the painting..thats Stevie Ray Vaughan. This was done by Mr. Foad, my Life Drawing lecturer in just 10 minutes..using acrylics on a sketchbook..This was done just to show us how acrylics are suppose to be used. The painting is on the right of the photo and the original from where he's copying the picture from is on the left of photo. U've gotta be there looking at him do this..i mean, after looking at him work the acrylics..i thought i could do the same but...man,i never came close to it..haha. :P This is just the first of many of Mr. Foad's work that i'll be featuring in my post so enjoy..and if u think there's nothing special about it..then i might want to suggest that u go out and get some acrylics and and a sketchbook and try them urself and see if u can get something out that is even remotely close to the picture. :D

Gonna be a fun day tomorrow cause Spencer smsed me today asking for confirmation of participation for a night mini AEG battle at a playground near my place at 10pm..its been so long since my last mini AEG battle and CQB..my fingers are so itchy for action since the last round we had the battle in the jungles of Gombak with Azlan and his gang..and also the last one i had with Spencer and his gang at SS2. I just hope and pray that it wont be raining during that few hours we're gonna have our night battle..i know its been raining almost every night these few days but i really really hope just for those few hours the rain will stop for us to have our night battle. :D Maybe i should do some fasting and praying for tomorrow..haha. ;) Well,at least i know that on the 28th of this month..Nelson and i will be joining Azlan and his gang for a jungle battle in Gombak again..so i'm really looking forward for that battle..I'm just wishing that the Tokyo Marui Boys' AEG will arrive this week or next week so that i can get myself a primary weapon beside my G3A3 mini AEG and a H&K P8 handgun..alot of weapons to carry i know but hey,i dont care..i'm gonna be using all of them..haha. ;)

Anyways, gonna stop now and let my BitTorrent continue dowloading more movies and stuffs..gonna try to stock up on movies and music to watch and listen to during my 2 months holiday. :D Well, should also be practicing my parts for the song that i'm singing for Christmas and also practice the dance that we're gonna do while singing the song..so actually, there are quite alot of stuffs to do. :D So "Bonne nuit, mes amis." "Au revoir."

William's Frodo, originally uploaded by hanlian.

Just got home.. :) from Midvalley Megamall was breaking fast with Yanna, Oja, Putri, Diva and Raimy at Chili's..had quite alot of food and the girls couldnt even finish their food. :P So it was pretty fun..seeing how the waiter was trying to make the girls not waste any food by offering to pack the leftovers up but the girls didnt want it..so..there was kinda alot of food left. :D We also had some stalkers, male and female stalkers sitting across our table contantly looking at Oja and Yanna and me i think..for dunno what crap reason..Stalked us to a point where they started taking photos of us using their camera-handphones which was really annoying..so in retaliation to their weird [read : crazy] behaviour..we decided to take photos of them too..and since Oja, Diva and i had camera-handphones ourselves..we used it to take photos of them and Putri even used her digital camera to take some photos. :D So it was a pretty interesting dinner. :)

Met Li Mei and Joyce at Chili's too..they teased me about how i'm trying to chase after malay girls cause besides Raimy, i was the only guy in the group of malay girls. ;) The dinner cost around RM235 for a group of 6 hungry guys and girls..guess its ok looking at how much food and drinks we ordered. :D After dinner, the girls went shopping again, and Raimy and i decided to leave since there wasnt anything else for us to do..but i did manage to buy myself another toe-ring before we left Midvalley MegaMall. :) So it wasnt that bad after all. :) Drove Raimy home to Ampang before going home myself..and it was a really tiring drive home..it felt like i was driving from Penang back to KL cause i was really sleepy for dunno what reason..so i was dozing off most of the drive home..and it was really dangerous cause i think i was swerving..so i was kinda like shouting to myself in the car and trying to sing along while listening to Earth, Wind & Fire on the way home..One word of advice, do not try to drive when u're feeling sleepy and are falling asleepy while driving..super dangerous thing to do. :D

Today was pretty interesting as well, was late again..sigh,maybe my day shouldnt start so early as 9am.. :P Anyways, was late picking up Li Ann and Oja..was a bad move cause Li Ann had an exam at 9am..so by the time i picked Li Ann up was around 8.30am and 1/2 hour wasnt enough time to get to college in time..couldnt do anything about it so tried to drive as fast as possible so that i can get her to college on time..but it was a mission impossible cause the LDP was jam around the Western Digital area..all because of STUPID drivers trying to cut into the Federal Highway..so from 4 lanes with 2 lanes dedicated for the slip out to the Federal Highway..it turned into 3 lanes..so was pretty bad. And also Oja had a Life Drawing/History of Art integrated project presentation at 9.30am..so alot of stuffs happening in the morning. :)

I am also suppose to be involved with the presentation but since i still have not finished my drawing/painting of my canvas..i have nothing to present so instead of having to hear the lecturers nagging at me..i just decided to go straight to the photo studio to do my studio photo-shoots. :) Spent like the whole morning and half of the afternoon finishing up 1 color film roll and 3/4 of a black & white film roll...I'm really hoping that all the shots that i've taken will come out nicely else i'll have to spend another day and another roll of film in the studio again..and thats not an option for me cause i'm really running out of time..the deadline for the photography assignment is next friday..and that deadline is like the last of the last cause Mr. Lee has already given us our extention. So its pretty intense right now..not really on the photo-shoots but rather when we send in our films for development and printing..thats where alot of time is taken..so if they cant get our films developed and printed in time then we're all screwed big time.

Oh well,i'm kinda chillin' for today cause tomorrow is Deepavali and its a public holiday so i'm gonna use tomorrow to catch up on all the sleep that i've lost during these few weeks..That is also the reason why i went to Midvalley with the gang..just to chill from all the work we had..Think the only thing i have to do tomorrow is go for a family dinner to celebrate my grandmother's birthday..other than that..i think i'll just spend the time sleeping. :D

Oh yes,i hope u like the painting i posted here..this is the best painting that i've seen so far..also using acrylics on canvas..i'm sure u can recognize the person in this painting..it is done following the style during the renaissance art-movement period. This is only a B+ work as i've mentioned before..there are some mistakes in this painting but to me..i think having not being taught how to paint but just only how to draw during our life drawing class i must say that this is really some pretty good work. :D but i heard while William presented his work today in front of Mr. Foad our Life Drawing lecturer and Ms. Yashmin our History of Art lecturer..he got some comments on his work..but i guess it's good that u get some comments cause then u can learn from them and get better at the painting and drawing. :) I'm just hoping mine wont get too much of comments and stuffs.. ;) its too embarrassing. :D

Guess i'll go offline now..wanna sleep already..really cant keep my eyes open any longer. :) So "Bonne nuit et Au Revoir, mes amis."

Ian's Ricky Martin, originally uploaded by hanlian.

Currently Listening To : Eu Te Devoro - Djavan.

Got back from college about an hour ago..was trying to pack some of the stuffs i'll need for tomorrow's studio photo session. Packed quite alot of stuffs for the shoot cause i still dont have a solid plan of what i'm going do with my props. :D So i'll just bring most of my kubricks and some of my soft-toys and a small stage that i can use to place my props on. :) Bought 2 rolls of film that i'll be needing for this shoot before i came back from Foto Suria in Jaya Supermarket in SS14. Cost me like RM61 just for 2 rolls of Fuji ISO 100 slidefilm and 2 rolls of normal ISO 400CN colorfilm. I havent even calculate the amount that i'm gonna need to pay for the developing and printing yet..Man,i really hope i dont screw this photography subject up else i'll have to repeat the subject and i'll have to spend some more just to do the same stuffs i've been doing this semester.

Today was pretty easy..just had to do a presentation for ERS in the morning which only lasted like 1 hour..then had the rest of the day off..which i could have used to continue to work on my Life Drawing/History of Art integrated project but i had to wait for Li Ann to finish class around 4pm so i went to Putri's place with Oja to hang out til it was time to pick Li Ann up. Well,i guess it doesnt matter whether i got home earlier or not cause i kinda got into this routine [read : habit] in which i can only work during the night..hehe..so guess it doesnt really matter if i was home earlier or not. :)

Saw something really funny today while i was on my way up to my apartment..there was this mom and her 2 kids with her, a boy and a girl..pretty young kids i would say..just started learning how to walk..So they got into the lift and the boy as usual like all boys at that age..wanted to press the buttons..actually i was pretty amazed that the little kid knew which button to press to keep the door open so anyway..we got in and we pressed the button to our respective floors..then when they got to their floor..the mom was trying to get the boy to get off the lift but he didnt want to..so he pressed the close button..but the mom pressed the open button and forced the boy out..guess the open button didnt respond to the mom and the door actually stared closing while the boy was walking out while staring at me..and so he banged into the door of pretty hard..quite funny i would say..haha. :P Sorry,if i sound mean..but the mom said to the boy the he deserves it..haha. ;) so i guess its ok for me to laugh..haha. ;)

Oh,there was also another funny incident that happened today. :D This happened while Oja, Putri, Zaza, Yanna and i were leaving college around 12pm at the parking lot. :D Well,my car was parked next to Yanna's car and she had some trouble trying to start her car..so we initially thought it was because of the car battery..so we took out the jumper cables and hooked everything up and then the girls tried to start the car a few times but it didnt work so i went over to try it myself and then i found out what was the problem. :D Yanna was driving an automatic transmission car..so maybe now u might have figured out what was the reason why we couldnt start the car. :D She forgot to put the car trasmission to P and left the transmission to D4 so that is why her Kelisa couldnt start..haha..and all this while trying to jump-start the car with the jumper cables and everything, we could have solve the problem without me positioning my car for the jumper cables and she calling her mom to tell her that the car couldnt start..hehe. :P So it was a pretty interesting day for me. :D

Oh well, better go have my dinner then get some work done. Oh yeah,i wonder if anyone can recognize this person in the painting..This is done also with acrylics on canvas by Ian..one of my ADOM course-mates. :) Also following the style of Vincent Van Gogh..the 3 paintings that i've posted so far is erm..considered ok i guess but the next posting i'll be posting a 'B+' work..and i must say it is one of the best among the ADOM class..well,among those that i've seen so far lar. :) Anyways, enjoy..do bear in mind that this painting is done by someone that has no background in working with acrylics and canvas..and so he has no professional training and he has done his best and have no regrets..haha. :P Pretty lame i know..but hey, everybody seems to like William Hung..so why not..haha. ;) "Au revoir, mes amis."

Jennifer's Nicole Kidman, originally uploaded by hanlian.

Guess who this person is. :) Pretty easy i would say..Done by a friend from the other ADOM [Advance Diploma of Multimedia] class. Sigh,i cant seem to get the acrylics to look the way i want it to look..I have a bad feeling that i might have to buy another canvas to work on cause i might have screwed up the colors. Argh,i have to get it done by Monday for submission but i think i can still pull for Wednesday cause the History of Art presentation is on Wednesday..in which the group is suppose to present the art movement that we've chosen and the artist from that movement that we have followed the style from. So still have alot of work to get done and i'm kinda starting to not feel so good..sigh,really not a very good time to fall sick right now.

Went for Pooi Yian's dad's funeral service on Saturday morning..really didnt know what to say to her..so i just kept my mouth shut lest i say something really really stupid. YF service in the afternoon and Christmas practice at night..pretty packed Saturday i must say. :) Then today was ok..prepared something for Pastor's sermon today..then had Christmas practice again..Just realise that our 1st rehersal is in 2 weeks time..and i dont think we're all that ready yet..so its pretty intense right now for all those core people that are involved. :) Had lunch at O&S with James, Christina and gang..then they invited me to go check out their new place in Puchong..actually shouldnt have went but i was really lazy to work on my acrylics so just went along with them. :) Really interesting place..I love the view and the house is quite big..and for RM300k++..i guess its a good buy. :)

And now i'm back home..should be working on my canvas again..but i have a feeling i should go get a new canvas cause i might have spoilt the whole painting..sigh,should tried the colors out on some catridge paper or something..at least then i know how the paints will come out..Sigh,oh well..no use crying over spilt milk now..Dont think i'll be going to college tomorrow then..still have to work on this stupid canvas thing..but must go on Tuesday cause of the ERS presentation..and Zaza, Putri and i still havent sat down to discuss about who is going to say what and how is the presentation is going down..So i have a feeling Tuesday is gonna be a pretty mad day. :) Better get off now..so "Bonne nuit, mes amis."

Brandon's portrait of jesus, originally uploaded by hanlian.

I think most of u all would be able to guess who this person is. :) This is acrylics on canvas, using Vincent Van Gogh's style and done by Brandon in just 1 night. Really interesting..i'm not sure if u can see it on this photo but on the actual painting, the impasto technic is very evident. Too bad it was rejected by Mr. Foad because Vincent Van Gogh does not do close-up works such as this..so Brandon would have to re-do his work. Poor guy, this artwork kinda came out quite nicely in my point of view. :) Most of the people that looked at it the first time could actually recognize who the person in the paining was..so not a bad job i must say. :) Mine is still in the process of completion..so will try to get a photo out but before i do that..i took 3 other photos of my college-mates' artwork..so i'll be featuring their work here for the next few postings. :) Hope u guys out there like their work. I mean we're not good painters..well,not all of us but at least we gave it our best..so thats what matters most. :)

This morning was kinda late for college cause i couldnt wake up early again..sigh,dunno why but these few days i've not been getting a good night's rest..always waking up feeling really tired and lethargic. I really hope i'm not going to fall sick because of it..too much work right now..the semester is going to end in another 2 weeks..so really not alot of time to spare at all. But the best thing about this morning was that..i manage to see a really nice blue sky with large white clouds on the way into CyberJaya..its been awhile since i've actually seen such skies in the morning..or maybe its because there's always some work thats in my mind and occupying me so much that i didnt take time to look around the beautiful scenes that i'm passing on the way to college.

Oh well, didnt do much in the morning except wait for Brandon's group to finish their presentation and go for lunch..did have a Communication Studies [ERS] exam in the afternoon though from 2pm to 5pm. Man,i really flunked that exam..wasnt prepared for it cause i missed the last class that was meant to brief us on what to expect for the exam. Argh, what a numbskull! Anyways, there were 2 parts to the exam..first was the reading section where they give us a few paragraphs to read and then answer the questions..fairly easy..then the next one was an essay section where we were given 3 articles which we're suppose to read and then do a compare and contrast essay of 400 to 500 words..In which i totally blew cause that was the thing that i didnt know how to do it...And to make matters worse..i kinda fell asleep during the first 20 minutes of the essay section cause i was really tired as i said before and the 3 articles werent attention grabbing articles so..halfway through my reading..i fell asleep..i only woke up when i heard Ms. Bakia saying something about those that have finished can hand in their test papers and leave. Was really asking for it..haha. :P Even though i slept,i did manage to write i think around 200 words so i guess i should get something from my essay even though i have NO idea what so ever on how to write a compare and contrast essay. Anybody care to enlighten me about this matter? :D

After college was prayer meeting around 8.30pm..was on duty to play the guitar today..but was also suppose to have attended Pooi Yian's father's funeral service..actually,i wanted to go tonight but this morning i managed to check my emails and i received an email from Eng Kok saying that only youth leaders and workers are encouraged to go tonight because the prayer meeting with a special speaker is still on as scheduled..to me when they use the words 'youth leaders and workers'..that does not include me in that category..so i was kinda disappointed that he said that..but eventually i found out from Eng Kok that it wasnt the case..so whatever..next time they shouldnt use such words..just go straight to the point..whats with all these bombastic words and sentences for? It will only confuse people..Anyways,tomorrow morning there's gonna be a last service around 10am before they proceed to Nilai for the funeral or cremation..i'm not so sure..So guess i better get off and start on some of my work and go to bed early..tomorrow's gonna be another long day cause there's the funeral service to attend then there's YF service and at night there's the Christmas practice..and above all that i still have to finish my college assignments and also get some more samples done for the Christmas flyers which Li Ann and i were suppose to work on and come out with some prints to show the Christmas committee this Sunday. Sigh,i really wish i'm a wizard with Adobe softwares cause then i dont need to rely on Li Ann to help me visualize my ideas..I have some ideas floating in my mind right now but i cant get it onto softcopy neither can i manage to sketch/draw it out..so i'm like a handicapped person..so frustrating. Anyways, Bonne nuit, mes amis." "Au revoir."

Mauvaise présentation!

Mr_Foad14, originally uploaded by hanlian.

I wonder if anybody actually recognizes this painting..its not finished and it was only done in less than 15 minutes by my life drawing lecturer Mr. Foad as an example to all of us on how to use acrylics. This is a copy of Vincent Van Gogh self portrait painting. Oil on canvas, finished in Paris during the winter of 1887 - 1888. It is called Self-Portrait with Straw Hat. Do realise that this painting by Mr. Foad was done in just 15 minutes or less so i must say it is pretty good. :) I dont think i'll be able to do such things..not yet anyway..haha. :P

Just got home..was in 1 utama with Oja, Yanna, Putri, Diva and Raimy cause the girls wanted to break fast there..so i decided to tag along since today we kinda finish one of the big integrated projects for this semester so just wanted to chill for awhile before i start working on the other stuffs which are due next week..so i'm expecting very little sleep during these few days and the following week. Had dinner at Seed Cafe..what a rip-off..RM12.90++ for the Ramadhan Buffet set but the portions was so small that i thought i might have mistakenly ordered from the kids' menu. :P Still it was a fun time cause we got there quite early around 6pm..and we walked around 1 utama with no idea what to do or where to go until 7pm when they can break fast..so there was alot of exercise today in the form of walking around 1 utama. :) Guess i dont mind it cause i've not been going for kickboxing this week cause i've been so busy trying to get the stuffs done before the submission date.

The presentation today was really bad, our group wasnt really prepared for the presentation cause we didnt know what was expected of us..so we just went with the plan that we'll all just talk slowly when we bring up one subject then all of us will elaborate on that subject before moving on..but then when the questions came..all of us..most of us couldnt answer most of the questions thrown to us..So me being the group leader..i got the most criticism from the lecturers especially from Mr. Nik..sigh,oh well at least we have something to hand in and at least we were all there to do the presentation so i guess we're still safe. :)

Sigh, still have to work out my life drawing and also my photography assignment which is due next week..so i better get off soon and either get some rest or just start sketching again for my life drawing..sigh,its due on Monday and i still have nothing much to show to Mr. Foad..Argh,i'm really pulling everything really close this time round. Suppose to attend Pooi Yian's dad's funeral service tomorrow but i just found out that i'm playing the guitar for tomorrow's extended prayer meeting..so i think i'll just have to call her tomorrow when she touches down in KLIA or something..sigh,so many things happening all at the same time..Sometimes i really wish that i was either deaf or dumb or a little bit slower than normal cause then i might have so many things to worry about..maybe i've just made things too complicated..how did i even make things so complicated? Ah, no time for such questions right now..i'll ask them again after i've handed in everything that is needed to be handed in..so "Bonne nuit, mes amis." "Au revoir."

Batik, originally uploaded by hanlian.

As i have promised this is the jpeg version of what our final artwork should look like. :) It does look better this way than the one that we have done..haha...but at least we have something to show..so thats most important..Now all we have left to do for this integrated project is to do the presentation which is on tomorrow at 10am..Hopefully we can all answer the lecturers' questions and not stand there with our mouths open looking like stupid fellas..haha. :) Will try to take some photos of all the artwork that has been done and hung up around college to show u how this year's semester 2 students have done with their work. :)

Just came back from church cause there was Christmas practice..didnt go so well today though..Guess it was raining and everybody wasnt up for the practice so i think the practice today was kind of a waste..but at least we got some stuffs worked out so wasnt that bad after all. :) Really have to work alot on the Joy by Avalon song..And as u know..i'm singing a small verse of that song..so trying really hard to keep up with James, Christina and Nelson..people that can actually sing and sing well..haha..so 3 good singers and 1 amateur singer trying to hit all the high notes..haha. :) Come on Christmas day and see 3 good singers on stage giving their best and 1 amateur wannabe trying giving his best too..haha. :P Had dinner at Nelson and Yvonne's place today..which was really nice.. :) Nelson's dad cooked..really nice noodles and stuffs..wish i had taken more but i behaved myself and tried not to act like a barbarian that hasnt eaten for days..haha. :P

Tried to work on the Christmas flyers with Li Ann today too after class..i'm kinda ok with the progress but its still going too slow. Honestly, i think my idea is really that great after all..there are some things in the idea that i can rationalise and that is really not good..Sigh,i think i didnt make myself clear about what i mean when i asked Li Ann to help me with the Christmas flyers..the 'help' word means i needed somebody that can actually handle the adobe illustrator and photoshop software well..cause i'm really bad at it and it takes me too long trying to get the effect that i wanted and sometimes even cant get the effect that i wanted..so when i asked Li Ann for help..that was the help that i wanted from her..Sigh,think tomorrow i'll have to make myself clear to her about what i mean..Sigh,this is really going nowhere and on Sunday i have to have something to show to Cavin already...I felt so frustrated just now while working with her cause i felt like she didnt want to help me with the work..i just wanted to go home and work on it myself but i cant cause i really do not know how to work the programs..sigh,how handicapped i felt. Well,anyways..if i cant get it out then i'm just gonna let things go cause Li Ann has already gotten something out but its kinda like a flyer and i dont really like the background colors on it..but it seems like the Christmas Committee likes it so..if i cant get my ideas out in time..then i'm just gonna let it go..No use getting hurt cause i cant get someone to help me with it..

Oh well, gotta get to bed early today cause i need to wake up early to get to college tomorrow..the presentation is going to start at 10am and i have to dress up for the presentation..something which i dont really want to do.. :P I mean..one of the reasons why i joined LUCT was that after all the studying and during all the studying..i dont have to dress up cause being a creative person..or in the creative line..u do not have to dress up to go to work or whatever..well,except when u're going to see ur client..then u should dress up. :) So minimal dressing up was one of the positive points that brought me into the creative business. :D So anyways, really should go get changed and stuffs..so "Bonne nuit et Au revoir, mes amis."

IMG_1550, originally uploaded by hanlian.

Man,this week has been really really packed with stuffs to do and places to go. Kinda started on friday when my group started our painting for our banner/canvas..as u can see from the photo above..the monocromatic one is my group's work..quite simplistic in nature and well, dont think we're gonna be alot of marks for it but it really stands out from the rest cause i think we're the only group that is monocromatic..haha. :) the rest is fun of colors and stuffs like that. Will try to post the photoshop version so that u can at least enjoy the banner/canvas better. :) So this is the result of i think 4 weeks of work. Crazy/not worth the time u say..yes,absolutely..i cant agree with u more. :D Well,at least we have something to hand in instead of having nothing at all..so pretty good i would say. :)

The other one that u can see from the photo is Raimy,Zaza, Oja, Putri and Yanna's work..pretty nice i would say but the typeface is abit small so that might cost them abit of marks...but all in all, their work is pretty neat and everything so i'm sure they're gonna get more marks than us. :) But like i said before..at least we have something to hand in..so thats the most important thing right now for us. :) So that was friday with alot of painting to be done..kinda spent most of the day painting the banner/canvas.

Saturday was more interesting with Arthur and Ching Choo's wedding in the morning at First Baptist Church in Jalan Gasing..really nice and simple wedding..nice colors..good for my black and white photography..just wanted to finish up my last 2 rolls of T-Max black and white films..hehe. :) But had a hard time trying to take some good shots cause there were like 2 other hired photographers there so they were taking up all the good spots..so here am i the amateur trying to take some photos for his first wedding album..had to try to squeeze himself into place..havent send in my film for processing so still hoping that they'll all come out good. :) Fingers crossed and all..haha. Then went straight over to Stadium Badminton, Cheras to see Khoo and some others fight cause there was this Wushu Competition going on..didnt manage to see Khoo fight though cause he was scheduled to fight in the morning..but did manage to see Chi Wai and Alex fight..and also a girl fight and a 85kg category fight..pretty cool i would say..my first close-up chinese kickboxing tournament..manage to see Chi Wai KO this guy..the opponent wasnt even up to Chi Wai's standards..haha..it was so funny cause Chi Wai was really dominant throughout the fight..so by the beginning of the 2nd round, the opponent from Sabah went down like a log..haha. Really really fun. :) Khoo and gang had a celebration party in BarFly that night as well..so went there to party with them for awhile and got home around 2am.. :)

Sunday..was ok..abit of commotion cause some people came in during the week to install our new security cameras and stuffs and they manage to screw up our power supply to our PA system..so we kinda spent awhile trying to get it back online..so that was fun. :) Then there was Christmas Choir practice..and it seems that now i'm singing also for one of the songs..so thats gonna be pretty interesting. Manage to invite Preach to come for our Christmas service..i'm just hoping that when he comes he'll be able to drag Raymond to come along too. :) Thats about it i guess for Sunday..oh yeah, have to get the Christmas flyer drafts out by this Sunday..it was suppose to be last Sunday but didnt manage to do anything..so really have to get things done else it'll be back to those boring Christmas flyers..haha. :)

Monday was a holiday for Selangor so no classes for me..haha..but had to go over to Jeremy's place to get the banner/canvas done..cause there was alot of touch-up work we had to do..we kinda finish the banner/canvas in pretty good time cause the rest of the people had to use like 3 - 4 days to finish their banner/canvas..so i'm thinking we are pretty good at doing last minute work..and finishing it really quick..haha. :) Then went out with Nelson and Yvonne to Times Square around 7pm to check out Graffiti Toys to see if the Tokyo Marui Boys guns are in yet or not..but they are not..so will still have to wait for them to get in..hopefully soon cause there's gonna be a BB gun wargame organized by Azlan on the 28th of this month..so i'm really psyched about it..hehe. :) Trying to get Raymond to come along but i'm kinda doubtful about his interest already..oh well, dont really care just as long as i get to play..thats all that matters..haha. :D

Today,well...handed in our banner/canvas..as u can see from the photo..My group and Raimy,Zaza,Putri,Oja and Yanna's group were the first to hang up the banner/canvas..hopefully that would at least get us some little extra marks..haha. :P Well,anyway..got to sit down with Mr. Foad to see how we should use our acrylics for our canvas work..Seeing him work the paints was like watching Steve Vai shred his guitar..took alot of photos of his work..so will be posting most of his work for the following postings. It's not abstract art so i'm sure everybody will be able to appreciate it. :)

Well, guess i better go off now..gotta get some dinner and get back to work..Have to study for tomorrow's Malaysian Studies exam..sigh,really do not want to fail this subject cause it's just gonna be a waste of time trying to tackle it again next semester..Gotta get the ERS report ready for submission too..and there is also the ERS exam maybe this thursday or friday afternoon..and also the photography work..Man,there is still alot of work to finish and the semester is gonna end in like 2 weeks time..I'm hoping i wont fall sick during these 2 weeks and i'll get enough sleep..Was kinda falling asleep while driving back today from college..even with Li Ann and Oja in the car..i was kinda falling asleep..man,that is seriously very dangerous..haha. :) Oh well, "Au revoir, mes amis."
